Wow! This is the first class I've taken and I am so impressed with all the things covered in this class. I didn't realize we would make 3 cards (so fun!) but in addition to that Emma Lou taught lots of different techniques for creating flowers and using stamens. I really loved the way she showed how to make the hydrangeas and the 3D lilacs. I've been wondering how that is done. Now I can create lots of lots of my own. First of all, these are not expert level projects but they look like they are! I'd guess you could make any one of these boxes or baskets in about an hour. Most of your time would be spent with your cutting machine.
The instructor is very good at keeping the banter going ... no awkward silence when she's gluing or anything . And she's great about remembering where the camera is so we can see each little step. I like that she performs the repetitive steps so we can get another look at how it was done.
So, yeah. I'd definitely say you should check out this video class.

I have been making cards for years, but am new to Heartfelt Creations. I first saw Heartfelt dies and stamps at Shady Lane Impressions in Honeybrook, PA, but felt I could never make cards like the samples shown. In January I decided to become a member and now am totally enjoying all the videos and the many tips I learn as I watch the videos. When I first saw the Mosaics they didn't impress me, but after watching the videos and seeing the possibilities, I am very impressed and especially with the Floral Mosaic. I love how encouraging Emma Lou is when she shows how to make the cards. I made a birthday card for our 14 year old grandson with the Classic Butterfly Companion dies, and he was extremely impressed. Thanks today for the tips on glitter and step by step showing how to make the pop-up cards.

Emma Lou is such a breath of fresh air. She is such a great instructor and she keeps it real. We all make mistakes or have an occasional accident. She shows us how to make the best out of those times.

I give this class 5 hearts !! I thoroughly enjoyed it, I was crazy busy but was able to watch it a little at a time, then last evening I watched it all! So informative, I love having the PDF cutting files to reference.
My only thought was its too bad that there wasn't a stand (like a recipe stand ) for the finished album to sit in while Emma Lou was teaching and we could see it as we are going along and it would be easier for her to reference without having to stop and grab the finished album.

I had made a few flowers from the sweet pea set on my own prior to this class after watching a video on Facebook and thought I was doing an okay job. This class took me to the next level and is a game changer.
Now I have so many options on how to make the sweet pea it means I will use my stamp and die cuts more effectively and get my money’s worth. Andrea always does a clear and precise presentation suitable for both new and advanced card makers and I did not feel overwhelmed. Not only did I learn about shaping the sweet pea , the colour combinations also were inspiring and I wrote notes on the back of the coordinating paper pack for easy reference. All in all, I would highly recommend. A favourite class and I have watched nearly all our classes.

If you were afraid to attempt flower making this is the class for you. Besides learning how to create a beautiful necklace; you learn how to create gorgeous flowers. Andrea is a wonderful teacher. The pace is perfect, and the instruction are very clear. She takes the time to explain each step in detail. I really enjoyed learning something new. I never considered making jewelry with paper florals. The end result is so beautiful. The best thing is that since my daughter makes jewelry and I do papercrafts, we can do these projects together. It will be great to share a crafting activity!
