Instructions: Fold the flip fold on all score lines. I cut the smallest edge that does not have a measurement on it as this is what we would attach to the flip fold album. If you wish to attach this to an album, then do not cut this piece off. Fold the flipfold so the front part is the 8.5 x 5"; the back or inside of the album is the 8.5 x 6.5" and the other two pieces (8.5 x 3" and the 8.5 x 1.75") will become pockets on the inside. Attach your magnets. One will go on the 8.5 x 6.5 part of the album (this is the inside) and the other will go on the front part of the album. Once you have your magnets attached, cut your papers to fit.
I cut a sentiment strip Embrace life that went on the inside part of the mini album, outside right edge. I cut a fleur border to go at the bottom on this and adhered on the outside edges with dries clear adhesive to create a pocket. I cut two Decorative medallion dies on the purplely blue paper then used light green paper to coordinate the second part of the die, one will go on the cover, the other will attach to the inside of the album on the 8.5 x 3.5" size of the pocket.
For the cover: Cut out a 6 x 6" piece of coordinating paper. Cut out an A2 card panel and mat this in the periwinkle color (paper purplely blue paper). Cut out two tags and mat these in the same paper. Using the circle die, cut out the bird scene; then a piece of clear cardstock to create a shaker. Using the largest and second largest circles, cut a small frame to frame the cardstock as shown. Put in some shaker glitter and diamond dust into the shaker card and secure this with foam adhesive. Cut out the eyelet size of the circle die and mat the shaker onto this. Then attach these to the tags. Insert a small piece of twine into each tag as shown. Cut out two of the window box elements die on white card and attach to the top and bottom part of the tags for added detail.
Using Canson water color paper and coffee ink stamp out the wildwood florals and the classic rose vines. Color using Distress inks. Pierce a hole in the flowers for the stamen, shape the flowers using the Rose Shaping Mold and attach the stamen. Shape the leaves using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Detail the flowers with Crystal Clear.
Cut out additional A2 panels for inside of the mini album. Once your flowers are dry from shaping, cut the wire from the stamen off and detail the cover. Attach the layered front panel to the mini album with dries clear and detail any of the layers if you wish with Crystal Clear. I used the sentiment you are my sunshine for the title on the cover.
