Instructions: The ready top fold card measures 6 1/2” x 8 1/2”. To create the top scenic panel choose a paper with deer from the designer paper collection and trim at 5 1/2” x 7 1/2”. Distress the edges with a distress tool and mat the patterned paper on a white cardstock a little bigger than the pattern paper. Two extra layers are added using pattern papers to add extra dimensions to the card.
Cut a 2” x 6” white strip from white cardstock and diecut using Fleur Basic Border Die to make the snow. Images from Festive Holly and Cardinal Stamp set are stamped with black archival ink and colored using Zig markers. The images are then cut using it’s coordinating die, Festive Holly Cardinals Die. Stamp an image from Festive Gate Cling Stamp Set using Cobalt Blue Archival ink and cut it using its coordinating die, Festive Gate Die. Cut gate apart in two and layer them on either side of the top panel using 3D foam tape. Stamp a few images of trees from Snow Kissed Spruce Cling Stamp using Library Green and Olive Green Archival Ink. Distress them a little with Peeled Paint. Apply glue that dries clear and Sprinkle Frosting Powder. Heat set if you need to add extra frost. Layer the trees as shown in the picture.
Stamp a few Poinsettias from Celebrate the Season Stamp Set and Ornate Sleigh Cling Stamp Set and diecut using their coordinating dies. Color them with Carnation Red and Magenta Hue Archival Ink. Shape them using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Add seed beads in the center and sprinkle some Crystal Clear and Frosting Powder using an adhesive that dries clear.
Once all the elements are ready, assemble the card as shown. A sentiment and a die cut from Festive Holly Die is added on the left-hand side, top corner to finish the card.
