Instructions: Cut a piece of white cardstock to 9 x 6 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/2" on the long side. Use from the HCD1-7298 Decorative Cage Die to diecut the folded card. Leave the edge of die extended over the fold to create a shaped card base. Use the same die to diecut a lavender 6 x 6" panel from the Cascading Petals paper collection. Sponge the edges of diecut with Cactus Flower ink and layer onto card base. Now diecut the decorative piece of the die from white cardstock. Apply Dries Clear glue to a sponge and dab over the decorative cage diecut, then sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. Attach the sides of cage onto the card base as pictured. Stamp the ‘For my Friend’ in Cactus Flower ink through cage door opening onto card base.
Stamp the small wisteria petals 2x from HCPC-3911 Wisteria Petals Cling Stamp Set in Cactus Flower ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp the same image 1 more time in Manganese Blue ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp the arched wisteria vine from the same stamp set in a dual tone of Cactus Flower and Leaf Green inks, then diecut with coordinating die. Repeat this step using the 3-bunch wisteria from HCPC-3912 Cascading Wisteria Cling Stamp Set. Stamp the right facing songbird from HCPC-3913 Floral Song Cling Stamp Set in Forget-Me-Not ink onto the white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die.
Use the Stack and Store daubers to color the images. Use the Majestic Violet ink on the blue wisteria petals. Use Cactus Flower ink on the purple wisteria petals. Sponge in a circular motion from center outwards, leaving the edges white. Sponge on the backsides of petals too. Use the Cactus Flower and Vivid Chartreuse inks on the arched and hanging wisteria and leaves, including the ones next to songbird. Use the Forget-Me-Not ink, Cactus Flower and Sunflower ink on the songbird.
Use the stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to shape wisteria petals. Pierce a hole in the center of each petal. Shape the rest of the images. Thread the wisteria petals onto wired stamen. Start with 1 wired stamen for first petal, then grab another one for the second petal, threading through both wires. Using multiple wires allows for a bigger grouping of petals at the top of each bunch. Use hot glue to attach the petals. You’ll need 3 bunches of wisteria, 1 of 8 petals, 1 of 6 petals and 1 of 3 petals. Attach the arched wisteria, wisteria bunch and songbird onto card, cutting apart some of the leaves and wistera, reattaching elsewhere on the card as pictured. Attach the wisteria bunches as shown.
Use the Dries Clear Glue along with Crystal glitter to add a touch of sparkle over the wisteria, leaves and songbird.
