Instructions: Score a 9” x 6.5” piece of white card at 4.5” and place the solid bird cage die so that it overlaps the fold – die cut to create a shaped card base.
Die cut a complete solid bird cage shape from white card and in paper from the collection. Layer these together and adhere to the shaped card base.
Die cut the decorative bird cage using white card and colour with gunmetal grey nuvo mousse, set aside to dry. Once dry adhere to the front of the card base.
Stamp the sentiment onto the tag from the paper collection, die cut and adhere to the lower part of the card.
Stamp hanging wisteria onto flower shaping paper using Deep purple and bamboo leaves ink. Colour using daubers and magenta hue & new sprout inks and die cut. Add cactus flower to the edges of the flowers and bamboo leaves ink to the edges of the leaves. Add a little of the cactus flower to the leaves to soften the colours. Spritz the reverse with water and shape using the flower shaping tools. Hot glue the wisteria into position onto the bird cage and use dries clear glue to add glitter to the flowers.
Stamp the bird onto white card using black ink, colour the bird using alcohol markers, add a little espresso truffle ink around the edges of the bird. Colour the leaves and flowers with the same ink as previously. Die cut & die cut 2 additional white shapes, layer these together
Stamp the petals using Deep purple. Colour using magenta hue and die cut. Colour the reverse. Lightly spritz the reverse with water and shape using the flower shaping tools. Hot glue onto the flower position. Place a small amount of hot glue in the centre of the flowers and cover with prills. Allow to harden and remove the excess.
Add the bird to the card using foam pads and hot glue.
