Wings of Glory

Other Products: Clear embossing powder, floral pearls – The Hobby House, black and white card

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7". Diecut a large butterfly from white card. Adhere a black diecut of the middle die to it. Diecut a 2nd middle butterfly using paper from the collection, snip off the antenna and adhere to the black diecut.

Stamp the butterfly, twice, onto vellum using the danube blue ink, cover with clear embossing powder, remove excess and heat to set, then diecut. Gently hand shape and adhere to the centre of the butterfly, allowing the wings to be free.

Diecut the decorative die using white card. Add gentle colour using the summer sky and danube blue inks and hand shape lightly. Adhere into position at the centre. Use hot glue to add the floral pearls to one side.

Shade the body of the 2nd vellum butterfly using the ink and, once dry, cut around the body. Use the dries clear glue to adhere to the centre of the butterfly. Snip the butterfly in half.

Fold a 10” x 7” piece of white card at 5” to create a card base and using the largest eyelet frame die, place hanging over the fold and diecut to create an eyelet card base. Die cut 3 additional white large eyelet frames. Adhere the 1st additional diecut to the front of the card base.

Diecut a large eyelet frame using paper from the collection. Line up with the 2nd additional white piece and cut together using the 2nd largest plain die, Adhere the centre paper to the centre of the card base and the 2 large frames adhere together. Add foam pads to the reverse.

Die cut the largest plain gateway die using paper from the collection. Place on top of the 3rd white eyelet gateway and diecut together using the 3rd largest plain gateway die. Adhere these frames together. Adhere the largest frame to this (with the foam pads).

Position the butterfly onto the card base with dries clear adhesive and place the frame over the top, adhering with foam pads.
