Wild Roses for Mother's Day

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Using the two largest Teardrop Lattice Gateway Dies, cut from white cardstock. Using the two smallest dies from the same set, cut from white cardstock. Sponge both panels with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter and set aside to dry. Using the largest Teardrop Lattice Gateway Die, cut the pink designer paper from the Wild Rose Paper Collection (the one with the stripes on the opposite side). Also cut the same pink paper using the plain inside die. Adhere the glittered diecuts to the pink designer papers. Adhere the smaller panel to the larger panel using dimensional dots. Adhere 1” double sided tape to the top of 5 x 7” white cardstock and diecut using the same largest die. Score just under the tape and adhere to the diecuts to create the card base. Diecut the striped side of the paper using the larges die, trim the top and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp the ‘To the world you may be one person, but to me you are the world’ sentiment on white cardstock using vibrant fuchsia ink, diecut using the plain inside Teardrop Lattice Gateway die ink the edges and adhere to the inside of card.

Stamp the large and small wild roses on Deluxe flower shaping paper using Vibrant Fuchsia ink, color with the same ink and Vivid Chartreuse inks, diecut using the coordinating dies and shape in the Small and Large 3D Wild Rose Shaping Molds. Layer three same size petals together to create the large flower. Use the groove golf tool to make a hole in the center and pull the stamens through. Use the hot glue gun to secure the stamens. Adhere two of the same size petals together to create the smaller flowers, add dries clear adhesive to the flower centers and add Minnie Pearl Prills. Sponge the flowers with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive Ink. Color using the same color and Bamboo Leaves ink and diecut using the coordinating dies. Shape using the Leafy Accent Mold, sponge with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue.

Stamp the ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ sentiment on white cardstock using vibrant fuchsia ink, diecut using the long eyelet die from the Ticket and Tags Die set, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Crystal Clear glitter. Shape and, when dry, adhere to the center of the card front using hot glue.
