For more tips on creating with the Tulip Time collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/rfYMxeNBmJk.
Cut a 6 x 6" card front with green border edge from the Tulip Time paper collection to 1 3/4 x 6" size strip. Score at the 1" on the left hand side. Use the smallest rectangle from the HCD2-752 Cut Mat Create 2B die to diecut a panel from center of card front remnant for the inside of card. Next, create an A2 side fold card base from white cardstock. Use the cottage die from HCD1-7127 Wildwood Cottage to diecut card base from A2 folded card. Make sure to extend left edge of die over the edge of card base fold when die cutting, to keep card base intact. Diecut another cottage from light green patterned background paper within the paper collection. Layer the patterned paper onto the white card base and diecut the small Cut Mat Create die from front of card to create window opening. Use from the same HCD1-7127 Wildwood Cottage die set to diecut a roof from white cardstock.
Stamp HCPC-3794 Window Frame in Colorbox Dark Brown onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Use a scissors to trim down window frame to a 4-pane frame. Sponge the frame with Archival Cactus Flower ink. Stamp the fence from HCD1-7221 Tulip Cart & Fence in Archival Black onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Split tulip fence into 2 sections. Sponge edges of fence and dab randomly with Cactus Flower ink. Also dab fence with Archival Vivid Chartreuse ink. Sponge top edge of cottage roof with Cactus Flower and bottom edge with Vivid Chartreuse. Sponge edges of green cottage lightly with Cactus Flower ink. Use glue and dimensional adhesive to attach roof onto cottage. Attach window frame around window opening. Attach small 2B background panel onto the inside of card behind window. Use glue and dimensional adhesive to attach fence section onto right side of green border strip. Align and attach card base right next to the 1" score line of strip. Use glue and dimensional adhesive to attach fence section onto left edge of cottage and border strip.
Stamp the tulip cart, cart wheel and border from HCPC-3861 Tulip Cart & Fence, the 3 fillers from HCPC-3860 Tulip Vase & Fillers and Happy Birthday banner from HCPC-3801 Simply Classic Cling Stamp Set in Dark Brown ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating dies.
Use the Stack and Store daubers to color the images. For the tulip cart and wheel, use the Archival Coffee, Sepia and Sunflower inks. Color the leaves with Vivid Chartruese and Emerald Green ink. For the tulips, use a variation of Cactus Flower, Vibrant Fuchsia and Sunflower inks. For the set of 3 filler blooms and petaled leaf, use a soft touch of Vibrant Fuchsia and Vivid Chartreuse. Cut apart the birthday banner into 2 sections and sponge edges with Cactus Flower and centers with Vivid Chartreuse.
Use the stylus from the HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower shaping kit to shape the tulip cart, wheel, tulip, leaves, fillers and banner. Use dimensional adhesive to attach wheel onto cart. Cut apart a section of the tulips and attach the 7 flower section into the cart. Attach the other tulip section in front of fence on the right. Cut apart leaves and petaled leaf and attach onto card as shown. Attach birthday banner and 3 filler blooms.
Use a sponge to dab some Designer Dries Clear glue over fence, house and rest of card as desired, then sprinkle with Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear powder. Apply Crystal Lacquer over tulips and tulip leaves and let dry.
