Instructions: This card measures approximately 6 3/16" x 4 3/4" when closed. To create this card, start by cutting a piece of white card stock 9 3/8" x 6 3/16". Measure 3 5/8" from the top and make a line starting 2 1/4" in from the left side 4 5/8" long. Repeat, but this time measure 5" down from the bottom. Using a sharp knife you are going to cut these 2 lines. Next, with the long side on the top of your scoreboard score at the 2 5/16" mark skipping between the 2 cut lines. Next score at the 4 5/8" mark from top to bottom and finally at the 7" mark but just between the 2 cut lines. Now that you have your card base done, repeat and trim the pieces slightly smaller with a piece of designer paper from the Woodsy Wonderland Paper Collection.
The Classic Rose flowers were stamped on White cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with Tattered Rose Distressed Powder and cut with the matching die. They were then distressed with Tattered Rose Distressed Ink before shaping the flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. The leaves were stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle and cut with the matching die before distressing with Peeled Paint. The deer were stamped on white cardstock with Expresso Truffle and cut with the matching die before distressing with Walnut Stain. The flower border was stamped on white cardstock with Northern Pine and cut with the matching die before coloring using a Dove Blender Pen and a combination of Spiced Marmalade and Pickled Raspberry Distressed Inks. Finally the little birds were stamped on white cardstock with Paris Dusk and cut with the matching die before coloring using a combination of Danube Blue and Brushed Corduroy inks.
