Instructions: Stamp the teapot in smoky slate ink onto the pale pink paper from the collection and colour using the copic pens. Die cut.
Die cut 2 teapots from melon mambo card stock and adhere the 3 teapots on top of each other to give a strong shaped teapot.
Cut a piece of melon mambo card 8” x 5”. Score and fold at 5” and 6”. Trim approximately .5” off the 2” flap of the card and adhere to the back of the teapot, ensuring that the remainder of the card is flat on a surface.
Cut a strip of paper slightly smaller than the 1” spine of the card, edge with melon mambo ink and adhere to the inside spine.
Cut a square slightly smaller than 5” and edge with melon mambo ink. Tear an 8” strip of vellum approx. 2” wide. Stamp the sentiment in black ink onto the vellum, cover with clear embossing powder and heat to set. Edge the vellum with melon mambo ink and adhere around the edges of the paper. Adhere to the card base.
Make 2 elegant floral sprays: stamp using smoky slate ink onto white card and colour using copics. Die cut and lightly shape.
Make the Pink Rose: Stamp the Classic Rose onto deluxe flower shaping paper using Rococo Rose ink and colour using Princess pink chalk cloud ink. Diecut and colour the reverse of the petals with princess pink. Place face down into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine. Shape with the flower shaping tools and glue 3 sets of petals together to form the flower. Add rococo rose ink to the centre and petal edges. Sponge dries clear adhesive onto the flowers, sprinkle with baby’s breath transparent glitter and set aside to dry.
Make the leaves: stamp the classic rose leaves onto deluxe flowerr shaping paper using old olive ink. Colour using Granny Apple Green ink and die cut. Colour the reverse of the leaves using granny apple green and add some shading to the front of the leaves with old olive ink. Spritz lightly on the reverse of the leaves and shape using the flower shaping tools.
Stamp the tea cup onto white card using smokey slate ink, colour using the copic pens, die cut and lightly shape. Position and add the sprays and tea cup to the teapot using hot glue. Position the rose and leaves to the centre back of the card using hot glue.
