Instructions: The lighthouse scene patterned paper is the background of the layout. Cut a piece of tan patterned paper that is 0.5 x 12” and add the red and yellow border strip to the bottom. Adhere this to the top of the layout. Double mat the 4 x 6” photo in white cardstock. Add the photo using Kraft photo corners. Cut a piece of the blue patterned paper that is 5.25 x 7.25” and adhere to the left hand side of the layout. Add the matted photo to that using foam tape. Find and cut out the light blue mini journal block and adhere half of it just above the matted photo.
Stamp 2 of the rope frame images using brown ink (Staz On- Timber Brown) onto white cardstock. Add color to them using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush (Mid Brown, Beige). Adhere red patterned paper in behind the rope frames, cutting off the decorative end of each. Add a small piece of the frame to the left of the matted photo and a larger piece to the right using foam squares. Find and cut out the “Life is a Beautiful Thing” sentiment and adhere to the right of the rope frame. Stamp and die cut 1 set of the seagulls using brown ink. Add 2 seagulls above the sentiment.
Stamp and die cut 1 set of the small and medium cherry blossom flowers onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using brown ink. Add color to each flower using ink and daubers. Teal ink to the middles (ColorBox- Seaglass Teal) and light brown ink to the tips of the petals (ColorBox- Gingersnap). Stamp and die cut 1 of the swirly leaf images onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using brown ink. Add color to just the tips of the leaves using light brown ink. Shape the flowers and leaves using the coordinating 3D shaping molds. Add Prills to the middle of each flowers and let dry. I created burlap string loops and adhered them to the top right hand corner of the layout then added a small and medium flower and some leaves. I created fish net from string and added a small piece to the right and left of the matted photo. I added a medium and 2 small flowers to the left of the photo and a medium and 2 small flowers to the right of the photo. Add leaves around the larger flowers.
