Instructions: The finished size of this tent fold card is 6 1/4” x 7 1/2” (16cm x 19cm). Make a tent fold card from the above measurements with the white stamping card. Taking the Ocean blue ink and inking tool, ink the edges of the card front. Find the paper from the Sea Breeze collection with a blue and green print. Trim this a little smaller than the card base measurement. Ink the edges of this paper also. Adhere to the card front.
Taking a piece of white stamping card, cut this to 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” (11.5cm x 14.5cm) for the card front. Take the frame stamp and die from the Day At Sea set. Stamp and die cut the inner frame part of the die so you have a hole in the card. Color this and ink the outer edges with the Ocean blue ink.
How to make the flowers for this card: Take the stamp and die collection set for the Oakberry Lane Blossom and the matching blossom shaping mold. Stamp and die cut enough to use for the card. Color the elements using the (Yellow) zig marker pen and a water pen for the flowers and a green color marker for the leaves. When colored, run the flower petals and leaves through the die cutting machine with the mold. For each flower, prick a hole in the centre with a pricking tool and thread the stamens through the hole. Secure the stamens using the hot glue gun. Before trimming the stamen threads away apply glue to the petal edges with the old water brush, dip the petals in the glitter and put aside to dry. When dry trim away the threads, now they are ready to use.
Make all the remaining elements used in this card by using the stamp and die sets listed, cutting extra layers for depth in the elements. Adhere together and color so they are ready to adhere to the card front. Stamp and cutting list: x1 Moored boat, x2 Fences, x1 Perching seagull plus x2 extra cuts, x1 Sentiment, x3 Flying seagulls plus x3 extra cuts, x3 grass tuffs, x1 Sunset with boats plus x2 extra cuts, x3 Med flowers, x1 Small flower, x2 Leaf sets.
Before adhering the card front to the card base, adhere the ready-made scene to the card base, layering the tuffs of grass and the fence, trimming as needed. Placing the cut out frame in its place to see if all is aligned in the frame before gluing down the elements. Adhere with the 3D glue dots to raise the frame from the card base.
Adhere the perched seagull to the left of the frame behind the lifesaver ring, the fences across the front and under the frame. The sentiment is stamped then die cut upside down so the hole in the tag can be trimmed away. Adhere this to the side of the fence on the right. The moored boat is placed to the centre right to cover any untidy ends of the elements. Adhere the seashells to the bottom edge of the card. Adhere the flying seagulls in their place to the left and right of the frame. The flowers are placed in clusters to the right and left of the card. Apply diamond stickles and Crystal Lacquer to the elements as pictured.
