Spring Slimline Wreath

Instructions:

Card size is 8 1/2 x 3/12”. Cut cream cardstock to 8 1/2 x 7”. Score at 3 1/2” then diecut card front using HCD1-7370 Simple Elegant Centerpiece die, by placing the outline die on the center of the card front and adhere. Place the cutting plate just over the card front up to the score line and diecut, then use a paper trimmer to cut away the outside piece leaving you with a beautiful shaped card front. Use intricate centerpiece die from the same die set to diecut one from Luxe Gold cardstock and one from white cardstock. Adhere the gold one on card front, then use a dauber along with Night Sky ink to add a slight color to die, then use hydra sponge along with Dries Clear glue to add sparkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. Adhere this on top of gold die, slightly offsetting, then use scissors to trim off excess that extends beyond the score line.

Using two coordinating colors of paper from paper pad, cut to 8 1/2 x 3 3/8”. Use the largest die from Regal Lattic Gateway HCD2-7339, place the top of this arch die along the left side of first layer paper. Diecut by placing the cutting plate only on the top of the die. Repeat this for the right side. Repeat for your second layer paper, this time moving the die in slightly creating a shorter piece. Then layer these onto inside card base and adhere.

Die cut 2 wreath bases with center opening and one wreath outline from HCD1-7375 Seasonal Wreath die using paper from the paper collection and adhere three layers together using foam adhesive. Die cut small bow outline from same die set using white cardstock, color with Rose Madder ink, then diecut the bow overlay using Luxe Gold cardstock and adhere together. Stamp sentiment using both Rose Madder and Light House ink on a small strip of cream paper, slightly shaping using stylus handle.

Stamp the accents on white cardstock, diecut and color using Stack and Store daubers. Stamp the florals in Rose Madder and Leaf Green inks, color with same inks, adding a splash of Sunflower in the center. Stamp the assorted foliage from HCPC-3965 Summer Wreath Accents Stamp set with a mixture of Library Green, Leaf Green and Light House inks. Color the Light House foliage with Sunflower ink and the remaining greens using either a blend of Vivid Chartreuse, Leaf Green and Olive or Library Green, Leaf Green and Olive, alternating this colors will give a nice variance on the wreath. Stamp the Butterfly in Rose Madder, Birds in Forget Me Not and finally the nest in Sepia. Stamp the backside of the butterfly with Rose Madder, birds with Night Sky and Sunflower and nest with Sepia and a soft touch of Night Sky on the eggs. Diecut with coordinating dies and shaping using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Arrange wreath as desired layering different layers of greens, tucking in other colored pieces as shown. Adhere using hot glue. Add the sentiment banner, then adhere birds on it. Attach beautiful bow with foam adhesive for dimension.

Finally, add a touch of sparkle by adding PouPon Glitter to wreath as desired, then adhere on to card front.
