Instructions: To see larger views of this project, click here. Cover your box using the Camelia Carnation collection. To cover the top, it measures 5.25 x 3.75" and your sides will be 5.25 x 1". Once complete, diecut the large eyelet oval from silver foil paper, which will be the backdrop. Next, diecut from white cardstock, the large oval basic that is one size smaller than the eyelet oval. Finish it off by diecutting a piece of designer paper with a smaller oval from the Eyelet Oval & Basics small set.
Now diecut the Decorative Medallion from silver foil paper and lay the finished diecut piece across the eyelet oval. Adhere all together using dries clear adhesive.
To create the flowers, stamp the Camelia Carnation flowers on Art Foam using the memento Luxe: Love Letter ink. Diecut a total of 12 with the coordinating die. Use four petals for each carnation bloom. After this is done you will color the tips of the carnation using your copic sketch: RV55. Now place each flower on your iron to mold each petal simply by twisting each petal. Glue each of the layers using the hot glue gun. When you do this, use the tool from the deluxe flower shaping kit to emboss the center, which gives it additional shape. Now take your piercing tool and pierce the center to add your stamens.
To create the leaves take Tim Holtz: Peeled Paint and stamp three sets of leaves on the green foamiran and diecut with the coordinating die. Place each leaf against your iron and twist to give it shape. Place your leaves amongst your flowers in the desired locations.
Finish the gift box by adding the "inspire" metal embellishment.
