Shake it Up Fairy Wishes

Card size is 5 x 7”. Cut Flower Shaping paper to 8 x 11", score and fold at 5 1/2”. You’ll be using the HCD2-7399 Flourish Companion Frame Die set to create the card base pieces. Diecut folded card base using large outline die, having the cut blade just above the fold to create a shaped card base. Using same outline die, die cut 2 more layers from Deluxe Flower Shaping paper and one from sheet 8B from coordinating collection. In center of all three of these layers, plus the card front, use the small outline die to cut a center, window opening. Use dauber along with Leaf Green ink to ink edges of green panel. Diecut large decorative frame from Luxe Gold cardstock and sheet 8B paper, adhere both together, slightly offsetting the gold to create a golden shadow then adhere onto green panel. Use foam dots to adhere green panel onto a white panel. Cut clear cardstock to 4 x 6 x2". On the back of the layered white panel, adhere one piece of the clear cardstock. Create a border around center opening with foam strips, being sure foam is connected, creating a barricade to contain the glitter, then add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear before adhering the second piece of clear cardstock. For a small piece of white trim, use one of the small outline diecut pieces and diecut the small decorative frame. This will leave you with a thin border trim accent piece. Adhere this on the back of the clear cardstock before adhering entire shaker panel onto card base. Use small outline die to cut scene from paper collection sheet 10A, stamp sentiment using Vivid Chartreuse and Emarald inks and adhere on inside of card base.

Stamp the following images on white cardstock. Stamp the tall mushroom cottage x2, small mushroom cottage x2, mushroom border and fairy using Sepia ink. Stamp the leafy vine x3, small Wild Poppy, and second smallest Wild Poppy using Leaf Green ink. Stamp onto pink cardstock, small poppy and 2 second smallest Wild Poppy x2 using Magenta Hue ink. Stamp the fairy wings x2 onto vellum using white ink and Bridal embossing powder, heat set. Diecut with coordinating dies. Keep one of each of the mushroom cottages with just the outline, use the second set to diecut the windows and door for layering.

Color the images using Magenta Hue on the flowers, Vivid Chartreuse, Leaf Green and Emerald inks on the leaves. Color the remaining images using Tea Rose, Majestic Violet, Manganese, Magenta Hue, Sepia and Sunflower ink. Use the Dove Blender pen to highlight the stripes in the fairy dress. Color on the backside of vellum wings. Use Hydra Sponge to apply Crystal Lacquer onto petals and leaves, allow to dry. Use scissors to fussy cut green stamped poppy centers, color with Leaf Green ink. Color vellum on backside.

Shape poppies using coordinating mold, layer the two larger petals together. Apply green centers using foam adhesive, then circle Dries Clear Adhesive around green centers and sprinkle Hot Mama Prills, tap off. Shape leaves and remainder of images using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Adhere onto card base as shown using foam adhesive, Dries Clear adhesive and hot glue as needed.

For a finishing touch, apply a fine line of Dries Clear Adhesive, sprinkle with Lichen glitter, tap off.
