Instructions: Cut a piece of white cardstock to 12 x 6" size, score and fold at 6" to create card base. Use from the HCD2-7189 Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Die, diecutting the fifth largest plain rectangle from the front fold of card base at an angle. Stamp the clouds from HCPC-3891 Sand and Sunsets Cling Stamp Set in Garden Patina ink onto top left corner and middle right of card base. Stamp off the clouds each time on scrap paper before stamping on the card base to create a softer image. Pair the largest eyelet rectangle with sixth largest plain rectangle, diecutting two frames from white cardstock. Sponge the edges of one of eyelet frames with Tiger Lily ink and the other with Garden Patina ink. Accent both frames with Crystal Lacquer to give it an ocean splashed look. Set aside frames to dry. Sponge the edges of card base with Garden Patina ink, except for a very bottom section of card. Lightly sponge the bottom with Tea Rose and Sunflower ink to create a sandy beach look. Sponge over the cloud areas with Tiger Lily and Sunflower to create a sunset look. Fill in the rest of sky with Garden Patina and light touches of Sunflower. Cut a 6 x 6" sunset card panel from the paper collection, trimming off the outer border so that panel size is 4 1/8 x 4 1/8". Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from HCPC-3843 Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set in Coffee ink onto panel. Attach panel onto the inside of card behind opening. Interlock eyelet frames and attach around the edges of opening.
Stamp the lighthouse image from HCPC-3890 Sea Breeze Harbor Cling Stamp Set using Nautical Blue ink onto white cardstock and diecut with matching die. Stamp the seagull on post from same stamp set in Sepia ink onto white cardstock and diecut with matching die. Stamp the seaside fence two times from the same stamp set ink Coffee ink onto white cardstock and diecut with matching die. Stamp the canoe from HCPC-3891 Sand and Sunsets Cling Stamp Set Stamp in Red Geranium ink onto white cardstock and diecut with matching die. Stamp the set of flying seagulls from same stamp set in Sepia ink onto white cardstock and diecut with matching die.
Use the Stack and Store daubers to color the images. For the lighthouse scene, use all the inks except Tea Rose. For the seaside fences, use Tea Rose and Sunflower on the sand. Use Coffee on the stones, use Garden Patina and Vivid Chartreuse on the grasses. For the canoe, use Tiger Lily and Coffee. For the seagull and post, use Garden Patina, Vivid Chartreuse, Coffee, Tiger Lily, and Red Geranium. For the flying seagulls, use a light touch of Garden Patina. Cut a 4 1/2 x 1 1/4" strip of cheesecloth and sponge with a touch of the Garden Patina ink. Dab the cheesecloth with Dries Clear glue, then sprinkle with Crystal Clear and Poupon. Set aside to dry.
Lightly shape the lighthouse, fence, canoe and seagulls with the stylus from Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Trim off a section of one of the fences. Trim off bottom sand section of seagull post. Use glue and dimensional adhesive to attach lighthouse onto the inside of card behind opening. Use glue and dimensional adhesive to attach the rest of the images onto card as shown. Cut apart the cheesecloth and tuck underneath fences as shown. Dab some Dries Clear glue over the fences, and sprinkle with Rajni’s Crystal Clear. Use the same technique and sprinkle with Poupon glitter on the sand, sunset and rest of card as desired. Add droplets of glue over the sand and cheesecloth, and sprinkle with Seas the day prills. Apply Crystal Lacquer over the water on the lighthouse scene on the inside of card.
