Cut a piece of white cardstock to 8 x 6 1/2" size, score and fold at 4" to create card base. Use the largest die from the HCD1-7260 Booklet Basics Die to create a booklet shaped card base. Extend the top edge of die blade over the edge of folded card base when sending through die cutting machine, so as to leave card base intact. Diecut the largest decorative booklet of HCD1-7261 Booklet Frames Die from white cardstock. Now diecut large, second largest booklet page and bookmark from first die set. Stamp the ‘Just for You’ from HCPC-3845 Just For You Sentiments Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Hue ink onto the top right corner of second largest booklet page. Lightly sponge the edges of decorative frame and pages with Magenta Hue ink. Sponge the bookmark with the same color ink. Dab some Dries Clear glue onto edges and bookmark, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear and tap off. Use dimensional adhesive to layer both pages onto decorative frame. Attach onto card base. Place the bookmark in the center of page. Use from the HCD1-7262 Swirly Border Accents Die to diecut a swirly border from white cardstock and set aside.
Stamp the large blossoms from HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Hue ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp the medium blossoms from same stamp set in Tiger Lily ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp the small blossoms from same stamp set in Forget-Me-Not ink (1x) and in Cactus Flower ink (1x) onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp leaves 2x from the same stamp set in Fern Green ink onto white cardstock and diecut with coordinating die. Stamp the lilacs from HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp Set in ColorBox Frost White ink onto vellum, sprinkle with White embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool. Diecut the lilacs with the coordinating dies.
Use the Stack and Store daubers to color the images. You’ll need 3 pink petals, 3 orange petals, 4 blue petals, and 2 purple ones. For large pink blossom, use Magenta Hue ink on the edges of petals and Vivid Chartreuse in the centers. For the medium orange blossom, use Tiger Lily ink on the edges of petals and Vivid Chartreuse in the centers. For 2 small blue blossoms, use Forget-Me-Not on the edges of petals and Vivid Chartreuse in the centers. For the 1 small purple blossom, use Forget-Me-Not ink on the edges of petals and Vivid Chartreuse in the centers. For the leaves use a light touch of Fern Green ink. Use the same green ink over the swirly border. Sponge 5 of the lilac petals with Magenta Hue ink.
Place the blossoms and leaves into the HCFB1-469 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold, lightly mist with water and send through die cutting machine. Shape the lilac petals with the shaping stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Then assemble the blossoms together as pictured. Pierce a hole through the blossom centers and thread the green and yellow wire stamens through the peach-colored blossom. Use red stamens on the pink blossom. Use green wire stamens for the blue blossoms. Use the purple stamens for the purple blossoms. Use hot glue to attach wire on the backside of each flower. Trim wire to desired length and then use hot glue to attach onto card. Cut apart swirly border and attach next to blossoms. Use hot glue to attach leaves, trimming them apart as desired. Attach lilac petals around the leaves as shown. Add tiny glitter beads to the centers of lilacs. Use the Dries Clear glue along with Crystal glitter to add a touch of sparkle over blossoms and leaves desired.
