Pink Rose Birthday Gate
Pink Rose Birthday Gate
Other Products: Victorian Velvet and Vintage Photo Distress Inks, White Cardstock, Dimensional Tape, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Knob, Canson Watercolor Paper
Instructions: My card is 6" X 6". Make card base using watercolor paper and then cover it with a piece of the paper collection. I dampened the edges of the paper and used the distressing tool to curl the edges. Stamp and cut out the gate and used Vintage Photo and Victorian Velvet to color in a bit. Then cut the gate so it will open and I used the Scor-Pal to score it so it would swing wide. I cut a second gate and lined the inside of the gate so it would be more finished. Now glue the gate onto the card front using dimensional Tape and glue. I stamped and cut out the wreath and colored with inks. I adhered it to the gate with dimensional tape. Next poke a hole in the gate and install the knob. Now find the pretty lady on the paper collection and fussy cut, then apply with dimensional tape so that is what you see when you open the gate. I also put some leaves on the back side of the gate. It was colored with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink. I picked out the sentiment tag from the paper and used the Luggage and Tags Die to cut it out. I used dimensional tape to adhere to the front of the card.
