Instructions: Base card: Cut a piece of cardstock 6” x 9” and score and crease in the centre of the long side to make the base card at 6” x 4 1/2”. Cut the patterned paper from the HCP1-278 Classic Petunia Paper Collection featuring the butterflies 4 1/2” x 6” and adhere to the card base. Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 5” and die cut the patterned border out of each end. Cut a piece of patterned paper at 6” x 5” and using the edge die from the HCD1-779 Regal Borders and Pockets die set, cut the paper to fit under the white cardstock. Cut a piece of patterned paper at 5 3/4” x 6” and using the edge die cut to fit the centre of the cardstock to create a panel. Die cut the circle patterned paper with the basket of flowers and hummingbird out using the Spellbinders circle die and adhere to the front of the bordered card using foam tape for dimension. Add the completed card front to the base of the card as shown.
Stamp the basket from the HCD1-7141 Classic Petunia Bouquet Die set in Espresso Truffle ink. Colour lightly with Copic Marker E29, die cut with the coordinating die and adhere over the basket on the front of the card using foam tape to create some shape.
To make the pink flowers stamp the flowers from the HCPC-3785 Small Classic Petunia Cling Stamp with Berrylicious and sponge the stamped images with the same ink. Die cut the images using the coordinating die and colour in the back with the Berrylicious ink. Mist the backs of the flowers with water and shape. To make the green flowers stamp the flowers from the HCPC-3785 Small Classic Petunia Cling Stamp with Bamboo Leaves and sponge the centres lightly with New Sprout before die cutting with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges of the petals with New Sprout before shaping the flowers. Once shaped add the prills to the centre of the flowers with the Dries Clear glue. When dry, arrange the flowers over the basket as shown. Stamp the long strand of flowers from the HCPC-3787 Classic Petunia Bouquet Cling Stamp in Espresso Truffle ink and colour in with Copic markers R81, R85, RV34, YG03, YG05 and die cut with the coordinating die. Trim the ends with the flourishes and adhere around the basket for some extra dimension.
