Instructions: The teal bordered patterned paper is your background for this layout. I wanted a circle that was just a bit smaller than the inside border. I found the perfect dessert plate for the job. Cut that circle out of the yellow patterned paper. Adhere to the middle of the layout. Cut a strip of the dark blue patterned paper that is 2" x 10" and flag both ends. Adhere this just to the right of centre. Cut a strip of red patterned paper that is 0.5" x 8.5" and adhere on the right side of the blue patterned paper. Cut a piece of the green patterned paper that is 3.75" x 6", round the corners and adhere to the left hand side of the yellow circle.
I matted my 4 x 6 photo in white, blue patterned paper and kraft cardstock. I added kraft photo corners to the photo. Adhere these layers together and add to the layout using 3D foam squares. Find and cut out the light blue large tag, add a bow of burlap string to the top and add to the top of your matted photo. Find and cut out the “You're My Best Friend” and adhere to the layout just below the matted photo using 3D foam squares. Die cut from hot pink cardstock “Aloha” and adhere just below the matted photo.
Stamp and die cut 2 sets of the medium flowers and 1 set of the small flowers. I added colour to these using inks and daubers. Shape and assemble the flowers. Add Prills to the middle of each using liquid adhesive. Stamp and die cut 1 large, 1 medium and 2 small palm leaves. I added colour to these using Chameleon pens. Stamp and die cut 1 each of the leaf pair and the leaves and swirls. I added colour to these using Chameleon pens. Shape your leaves.
I created 2 sets of yellow twine loops, each tied at the bottom and adhered to the layout using hot glue. One to the left of the matted photo and one to the bottom right of the matted photo. Then I added the flowers and leaves in those same areas. I added a small flower and the leaf pair to the tag at the top of the matted photo. Using the Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear pen I added sparkle to all of my flowers.
