Ornamental Sunflowers

Instructions:

Fold an 11” x 7.5” piece of black card at 5.5” to create the card base.

Cut a 7.25” x 5.25” yellow paper from the collection and die cut the large decorative filigree frame die from the centre. Cut a 7”x 5” green paper and layer these 3 pieces onto the card base.

Die cut a centre panel from the paper collection using the album tag and adhere to a die cut of the eyelet shape, adhere to the centre of the card base using foam pads. Die cut a yellow small filigree frame and cut into it to create corner pieces – adhere these to the top right and bottom left of the centre panel.

Stamp the holly berry spray onto flower shaping paper using bamboo leaves ink, die cut and snip into the shape to remove the holly leaves. Lightly shape using the flower shaping tools. Sponge with dries clear adhesive onto the swirls and leaves and sprinkle with transparent glitter.

Make the flowers: Stamp the small and medium sunflowers using Lilac posies ink onto flower shaping paper. Colour using the same ink and increasing the colour towards the centre. Add rhubarb stalk to the centre of the flower. Die cut and shape using the flower shaping tools. Place a dot of hot glue in the centre of each set of petals and cover with heart of gold prills, allow to cool and remove excess.

Die cut the best wishes ornamental tag using yellow and black. Layer together, add yellow bakers twine and adhere to the centre of the panel – using a foam pad to lift the tag at the top.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the  card base and add a few petite pollen stamens into the hot glue under the large floral.
