Octagon Layout

Instructions:

The orange and teal patterned paper is the bottom layer. Cut white cardstock to 9.75 x 9.75" and navy cardstock to 10 x 10". Adhere these layers together. Using the Simply Elegant Centerpiece Die, cut the different layers from white cardstock. Cut the largest layer from navy cardstock. Cut the mat for the small layer from yellow patterned paper. Adhere the intricate die pieces to their mats and set aside.

Die cut your photo using a suitable Simple Centerpiece octagon die, and a mat for it from white cardstock. Cut lots of octagons in different sizes from different patterned papers. Start layering the octagons, popping some of them up using foam squares. Add the die cut pieces around the octagons as well. Add the matted photo to the middle using foam tape.

Stamp and die cut 2 sets of each size of the sunflowers using brown ink (Staz On Timber Brown) onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Add color to the flowers using 2 tones of yellow ink (Stampin Up- Delightful Dijon, Crushed Curry). Add the darker tone just to the tips of the petals. Shape the flowers using the coordinating 3D shaping mold. Assemble the flowers and add Prills to the middle of each using a liquid adhesive. Let dry.

Add the flowers around the matted photo. I also added coordinating enamel dots around the clusters.  I added a couple of phrase stickers to the bottom of the layout.
