Instructions: View a larger project image here. Cut four 4 1/2" X 6" pieces of thin cardboard. I used a 24 pk. soda box. Using the punch board make each into the crest shape. If you do not have a punch board, measure across the bottom 2 1/4" and make a small a pencil mark. From the bottom up, measure to 4 3/4" on each side, draw a line between the two marks. At the center mark on the bottom cut on a slant, up to the outside edge of the 4 3/4" mark to form the crest shape. Using one neutral violet and one aqua sheet of the paper pad cut two of each color 4 1/2" X 6" and glue these to the cardboard. Flip over to the back side and trim off excess on bottom of crest. I repeated this process with lilac & aqua cardstock for the back side of each crest. You may omit this if you wish. Glue braided trim across the top of each crest. Cut pearl string to fit and glue to outside edges as pictured. I used my Crop-A-Dile to make 3/16" holes in the crest top, and set grommets. You can use a punch or anything you personally use for holes. Measure 46" of each color twine & cord. Thread through the holes and tie a knot behind each before adding the next crest. I spaced the crests 2 1/2" apart.
Cut the "Noel" letters with the Cricut machine & Storybook cartridge set at 3" from white glitter paper. Cut accent/frame and shadow setting from cardstock to match each crest. I inked the edges of shadow and accent pieces with pansy & aqua ink. You may use any type of letter, chipboard, wood, SVG files, etc. for this step. Assemble letter and attach with pop-dots to each crest as pictured.
Stamp large poinsettia & holly twenty times, and the small one, 12 times. Sponge half the large petals and half the small with aqua ink and the other half with pansy ink. Spray the holly with glimmer mist. When dry, shape as directed in video, add beads to centers of flowers. Coat each flower with Mod-Podge. Die cut two stars and clip off the tails. Cut four of the flourish in the Cut Mat Create die glitter paper and snip each one into three pieces. Die cut four white doilies from Arianna die that have a heart shape in them. Snip these apart making the bottom of the heart shape a point. Stack & glue together three pieces. Glue a stack to each side of the crests. Coat snowflakes with Gesso. When dry add a rhinestone to centers & brush on Mod-Podge then sprinkle on glitter.
Stamp one skate set & mittens on white cardstock using black ink. Color mittens with V05, & 01 for cuff and V01, & 000 for the rest. Color skates with C1, & 00, blades using C3, & 1. Color laces with BG15, & 11. Using the pictures as a guide, glue all elements to each coordinating crest to complete your banner.
