Mosaic Money Pocket

This card is a pocket to use when you want to give money as a gift. The finished card measures 8 inches by 4 inches. Take aa 8 x12" white cardstock and fold at 4" and 8". Cut 5 pieces of 7 3/4 x 3 3/4": 3 in green and 2 in red paper. Glue 3 of them inside the card. Glue a 6 3/4 x 3" pattern paper and glue it in the center to make a pocket.  Use the remaining 2 pieces of paper for the top of the card (only the back will remain white). Emboss in red the border from the floral mosaic 4 times. Color it with the light green zig marker, diecut and glue it on the top of you card.

We are now going to make a paper sleeve that will slide over your card to keep the money inside but that you can remove since it will not be stuck. Take a 3 x 12’’ white cardstock and fold at 4" and 8".  Glue it together taking care to make sure that the sleeve will slide well over the card and that it is not too tight. Cut 1 piece of 2 7/8 x 3 7/8" in green paper. Glue it on your sleeve.

Use the stamp in the floral mosaic kit. Stamp the first one with VersaColor Pigment ink pad white, cover with powder blue embossing powder and heat set. Die cut with the coordinating die. Do the same thing with the 3 other stamps in the kit with yellow, red and yellow embossing powder. Color the details with zig markers and glue them on each other with 3D foam.  Add 3D lacquer in the center of the smaller mosaic flower after coloring it with the orange zig marker.

Glue it on your sleeve.
