Magnolia Birthday

Other Products: Cutting machine, watercolor paint, brush, paper cutter or trimmer, string, ruler, scissors, Nuvo Crystal Drops - Simply White

Instructions: From the yellow sheet 9B of the Sweet Magnolia Collection, cut out 2 parts of the HCD1-7308 Majestic Swirl Frames Die. Place the recycled cardboard from the old packaging and adhere with glue. From the silver cardstock, cut out a small frame from the HCD2-7309 Elaborate Oval Frames Die.

Mirror the semi-circular magnolia images from the HCPC-3950 Sweet Magnolia Bouquet set twice on the white cardstock. Use Ranger Archival Ink Pad-Pebble Beach. Cut with the matching die. Paint with watercolor paints on shades of pink and green. Wait for them to dry. Place the stamped and colored images under the silver frame with both right corners above the frame as shown.

On the same cardstock, replicate large and medium sized magnolia petal images from HCPC-3948 Sweet Magnolia Blooms Set. Use Ranger Archival Ink Pad- Vibrant Fuchsia. Cut with matching dies by passing through a cutting machine. Apply the same pink ink to both sides of the petals using an dauber. Apply the ink in circular motions. Shape petals in a 3d shape to shape the magnolia. If necessary, help yourself with a groove golf tool. Shape 5 different flower sizes. Each consisting of 3 or 4 petals. Place to the right and left of the silver frame as shown. Complete the composition with a string placed on the right side under the flowers.

Stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from HCPC-3843 Special Birthday Sentiments on the white cardstock. Use Vibrant Fuchsia Ink Pad. Fit to the silver frame by cutting a close oval with scissors. Adhere with glue. Add white Nuvo droplets around the silver frame, and silver on the top and bottom as shown.

Prepare a 3.25 x 5.25 '' double base. Bend the white cardstock in half, use a ruler to measure the desired size, cut a paper cutter or trimmer. Glue it on the back so that it is invisible. And ready!
