Instructions:
The finished card measures 6 x 6". Take a 12 x 16" white base and fold it in half to make a top fold card. Cut a 6 x 6" piece of fuchsia paper #11B and glue it on the base. From the paper #5A cut a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" piece, ink the edge in leaf green ink and glue it on the base. Cut a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2" piece of paper from #5A and ink the edge with the leaf green ink. Glue the bottom and the right side with with glue on the base. Roll the left side to the right and attach it securely to the card with hot glue to make a pocket. Die cut in white cardstock a white border with the eyelet frame gateway die and glue it on the bottom and on the reverse of the pocket. Stamp your Flowering Dogwood Flowers with Blackberry Bliss ink onto white flower shaping paper, color the centerand the back and shade the edge with Sweet Sugar Plum ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Poke a hole in the centre of the flowers and add stamens, secure with hot glue. Use 2 petals per flower. Put a little bit of glue on the flowers and dip them in the glitter to make them shine. For the smaller ones, simply roll the paper around the stamen and glue it. Wrap florist ribbon around the wire of the stamen to make a bouquet of flowers. Make the leaves with the Leafty Accents collection: Stamp using leaf green ink onto flower shaping paper, colour the centre with the same color and diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Put cheesecloth and sewing thread in the pocket of your card. Glue your flowers and leaves over it. Also put some little flowers and leaves under your pocket. Die cut the word “LOVE” with the alphabet die 3 times from the white cardstock and 1 time in fushia paper to make like chipboard letters. Glue this title at the right of your card. |
