Lilies and a Hug

Instructions:

Cut a 7.5” paper from the collection and a slightly larger piece of kraft card, rag the edges of both and layer onto the 7.75” square white card base.

Select and cut a 6” square paper panel from the collection. Cut a slightly larger piece of kraft card and rag the edges of both, layer together. Die cut the decorative Simply Elegant Centrepiece die using kraft card and adhere to the centre of the panel. Adhere the panel to the card base using foam pads.

Die cut the large tag, using the paper tag and kraft card. Stamp the sentiment onto the tag at a slight angle as shown and layer with the kraft card, Tie with bakers twine and adhere to the centre of the card using foam pads at the top of the tag.

Make the leaves: Stamp the  leaves x3 onto paper from the collection using northern pine ink, die cut and add additional colour to the edges using a dauber. Place face down into the mold, spritz lightly with water, and run through the die cutting machine to shape.

Make the yellow flowers: Stamp 2 small lily petals onto flower shaping paper using buttercup ink, colour lightly with buttercup ink and make a stroke line along the centre of each petal using copic Y26. Die cut and colour the reverse of the petals, place face down into the shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine to shape. Add more buttercup ink to edges and additional shaping using the flower shaping tools. Adhere 2 sets of petals together, offsetting the petals, to create the flower. Varnish the petals using 3d lacquer. Take 3 bridal stamens and colour both ends using Morocco ink, thread through the centre of the flower and keep as tall above the flower as possible, thread a grey wired bead stamen into the centre, position the stamens and adhere in place using hot glue. Brush with 3d lacquer.

Make the pink lilies: Stamp x2 large and 1 small petals using rose bud ink onto flower shaping paper. Stroke the ink from the centre of each petal towards the outer edge using a triangle dauber. Die cut, place face down into the shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine to shape. Add additional shape if required using the flower shaping tools. Adhere 2 sets of 3 petals together, offsetting the petals, to create the flower. Thread through 3 black rock candy stamen and a gold wired stamen, open out and hold in place with hot glue. Brush with 3d lacquer.

Large pink fillers:- Stamp x2 the large spray fillers onto white stamping card using northern pine ink for the leaves and rose bud for the flowers, use the water brush to colour the pink flowers with rose bud ink, diecut. Use the daubers to add shading to the flowers with the rose bud ink and lightly colour the leaves with bamboo leaves ink. Add shape using the flower shaping tools.

Garden lily buds x1: stamp onto white stamping card using northern pine ink for the stem and leaves and rose bud for the buds. Colour the stem and leaf in bamboo leaves ink. Use the water brush and rose bud ink to colour the buds. Die cut. Add northern pine ink to the edges of the leaves and additional rose bud ink to the tips of the buds. Shape using the flower shaping tools.

Garden lily buds: stamp x2 onto white stamping card using northern pine ink for the stem and leaves and rose bud for the buds. Colour the stem and leaf in bamboo leaves ink. Use the water brush and rose bud ink to colour the buds. Die cut. Add northern pine ink to the edges of the leaves and additional rose bud ink to eh tips of the buds. Shape using the flower shaping tools.

Teal filler flowers: Stamp the lush lilacs  x1 onto white card using desert sand ink, die cut and add teala zeal ink to the tips of each petal, place in the shaping mold face down, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine to shape. Make a hole in the centre of the sets of petals and thread a pastel pearl stamen through the centre of each, secure with dries clear or hot glue. Sponge dries clear adhesive onto the flowers and sprinkle with glitter.

Stamp the large garden lily bouquet onto stamping card using rich cocoa ink, colour the florals using the rose bud ink and waterbrush. Add bamboo leaves ink to the leaves. Die cut, add additional ink to shade and shape using the flower shaping tools.

Position the leaves and flowers to wrap around the sentiment tag and secure with hot glue.
