The finished card measures 6 inches by 6 inches and is a top folding card. To make the card base, cut white card stock 6 inches by 12 inches and score at 6 inches mark on the longer side. Fold to make the card base. Cut a mat layer that is a little smaller than the card front and adhere to the front of the card with clear glue.
Instructions: Stamp the doorway image on white card stock with Jet black Archival ink and colour with brown shades of Zig real brush pens. Cut the doorway out with the matching die. Add another mat white die cut at the base of the doorway. Adhere the whole thing on the left side of the card front.
Stamp the flowers, leaves and swing, plant urn and other small elements from the Cottage ’scapes stamp set in Jet black ink on to white card stock. Colour the flowers and leaves with Archival inks. Cut with matching die and shape with groove golf tools. Stamp the small wild rose flowers with Pink Peony ink on deluxe flower shaping paper and colour with same colour using sponge daubers. Cut with Coordinating die and shape the flowers using golf tools. Layer two flowers together and add stamens in the centre.
Add the leaves and flowers on the doorway. Add the swing and all the other elements with foam dots to create a scene.
Stamp a sentiment from the ‘For my friend’ cling stamp set and add to the card front.
