Hollyhock Patch

Instructions:

Score a 10" x 7" piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping paper at 5" and fold to make a 5" x 7" card base. Die cut a 5" x 7" white cardstock using the dies from Classic Companion Border Dies. Trim this piece leaving a slim border of almost 1/8" around the design. Place this piece on the card base and trace around the edges. Cut out a rectangle slightly smaller than the die cut piece and then adhere the die cut piece on the card front as shown. Cut a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of pattern paper from Hollyhock Garden Paper Collection and adhere it inside the card.

Stamp the image from Hollyhock Stem & Blooms Cling Stamp set on a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Olive Archival ink twice and ink them with Leaf Green Archival ink. Die cut them using the matching die from Hollyhock Stem & Blooms Die and shape using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Cut one of the stems to shorten it and then Adhere both of them as shown on the die cut card front.

Stamp the flowers from Hollyhock Petals and Leaves Cling Stamp set using Carnation Red and Bright Tangelo Archival inks. Color them using Carnation Red, Bright Tangelo and Sunflower Archival inks. Die cut all the flowers using the matching dies from Hollyhock Petals and Leaves Die. Shape them using the 3D Hollyhock Shaping mold and Deluxe flower shaping kit. Poke a hole in the centers of the flowers with the pointed end of the groove golf tools and thread a pollen from Medium Assorted and Pastel Bead Stamens in each one of them and adhere with dries clear glue. Cut off the pollen stems once the glue dries and adhere on the Hollyhock stem as shown using hot glue gun.

Add a few ladybugs made with black and red nuvo drops and a few pearls to finish off the card.
