Instructions: The plaid patterned paper is the background. Cut brown cardstock to 10 x10", and the cream patterned paper to 9.5 x 9.5". Adhere these layers together. Adhere the burlap ribbon and bow across the middle of the layout. Cut a strip of the red patterned paper that is 3 x12" and adhere to the right hand side of the layout. Find and cut out the mini journal block, and cut in half, adhere a piece to the top and bottom of the red patterned paper strip using 3D foam squares. Add a gem to the middle of each.
Die cut 1 of the largest die from the Intricate Swirl Frames set from white cardstock. Cut a piece of the green patterned paper that is slightly larger than the frame and set aside for now. Stamp and die cut 2 of the Poinsettia Frames onto white cardstock using dark brown ink (Early Espresso). Cut 1 side or 4 poinsettias off of one of the frames. Now combined, the 2 frames make the perfect size for a photo mat that fits into the Intricate Swirls frame.
Add color to the frame image using ink and daubers. Green Apple to the holly leaves and Riding Hood Red to the poinsettias. I added color to the holly berries using Chameleon Pen RD4 Crimson Red. Adhere the colored frame to the white die cut frame using 3D foam squares. Adhere this to the green patterned paper using crafty foam tape. Then the entire thing can be adhered to the layout, again using crafty foam tape.
Stamp and die cut 2 of the Silent Night Scroll using dark brown ink (Early Espresso) onto cream cardstock. Fussy cut off the following pieces from one of the images: the top of the scroll, the bottom of the scroll and the holly on the side of the scroll. Add color to the holly berries using the red Chameleon Pen again, add color to the holly leaves using green ink and daubers (Green Apple). Add color to the candle using Chameleon Pens (Crimson Red, Warm Sunset). Add color to the scroll itself using Chameleon Colored Pencils, browns and mustard. Adhere the cut pieces to the full scroll using 3D foam squares. Adhere to the bottom left hand corner of the layout using 3D foam squares.
Stamp and die cut 1 of the pinecone image in dark brown ink onto white cardstock. Add color to the pinecone image using Chameleon Pens (OL3 Olive Green, BR2 Hot Cocoa). Using liquid adhesive add a little shine and dimension to bits of the pine cone. Let dry. Adhere to the left of the scroll. Stamp and die cut 2 sets of the larger poinsettias from the Poinsettia & Holly Clusters cling stamps and 3 sets of the smaller poinsettias onto white cardstock using dark brown ink. Add color to the poinsettias using red ink (Riding Hood Red) and daubers. Shape the poinsettias using the 3D Poinsettia Shaping Mold. Assemble the flowers and add glitter to the petals using liquid adhesive and Crystal Clear Glitter. Let dry. Add beads to the middles of all of the poinsettias using liquid adhesive and brown beads. Let dry. Adhere the poinsettias to the frame using adhesive dots. The larger poinsettias in the corners and middle and filling in with the smaller ones. Also add a poinsettia next to the scroll.
Mat your trimmed photo in white cardstock and adhere to the poinsettia frame using multiple layers of 3D foam squares to get it above the 3D poinsettias.
