Framed Friendship Florals

Instructions:

Cut two 5 x 7" size pieces of white cardstock. Cut another piece of white cardstock to 5 x 7 1/2", score and fold at 3 1/2 and 1/2". Attach this piece to one of the 5 x 7" pieces to create the card base. Cut another piece of white cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" size. Stamp the 5 x 7" and 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" panel using the ‘For My Friend’ sentiment in Pink Peony ink to create a  sentiment background. Cut a green panel of 4 7/16 x 5 11/16" size from sheet 4B of the Floral Sentiments paper collection. Take the frame and center cutout die from HCD1-7460 Friend Floral Sentiment Die, laying the frame in the center of A2 size panel. Only attach the center cutout die, remove the main frame and diecut. Now lay the A2 panel on top center of the green panel to figure out the placement for cutting out same die piece. Diecut the center cutout die from green panel. Sponge the edges of A2 and 5 x 7" panels with Pink Peony ink. Attach the A2 panel on top of the coordinating green panel. Sponge around the opening of panel with Vivid Chartreuse ink and then also use Leaf Green on the top left and bottom right of opening. Sponge the Vivid Chartreuse ink in a rectangular shape on the 5 x 7" panel to create a backshadow for smaller panel. Using from the HCD2-7399 Flourish Companion Frame Die, diecut 5 of the smaller rectangle Frame from white cardstock. Use a yellow sponge and Dries Clear glue to attach 2 frames on top of each other and repeat this for 2 more of the frames to create sturdiness. Attach these frames at the top left and bottom right corners of 5 x 7" panel as shown. Now attach the panel onto bottom half of folded card front.

Stamp the frame sentiment from HCPC-31024 Friend Floral Sentiment Cling Stamp Set in a combination of French Ultramarine and Viridian onto Deluxe Flower shaping cardstock and diecut. Clean the stamp and reuse, this time stamping in Lighthouse ink, stamp off on scrap paper, then ink with Magenta Hue and stamp onto white cardstock. Repeat this again and diecut both frames, using both the outer and inner piece of die. Stamp the ‘For My Friend’ sentiment in a combination of French Ultramarine and Viridian onto white cardstock and diecut. Clean the stamp and reuse, this time in a combination of Magenta Hue and Pink Peony ink onto white cardstock and diecut.

Sponge the centers of florals with Sunflower ink. Sponge the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse ink and then use Leaf Green as well. Sponge the florals with Pink Peony and then Magenta Hue. Use the purple Zig marker along with blender to brighten up the color on the petals. Repeat this, using the pink marker. Use the light green marker and a light touch of the yellow on the leaves. Use a yellow sponge for thin application of the Crystal Lacquer over both floral frames. Add just a light touch of the Vivid Chartreuse over teal sentiment and the ‘Friend’ diecut. Add a light touch of the Pink Peony over the pink ‘Friend’ diecut. Use the shaping stylus to shape the floral frames.

Attach the remaining decorative frame onto the center inside of card. Attach the pink sentiment onto inside as well. Sponge the inside edges of card with Pink Peony ink. Attach the teal sentiment onto front center of card area over which you’ll place the layered A2 panel using dimensional adhesive. Now apply the Dries Clear glue onto yellow sponge and dab over top left and bottom right corners of card, then sprinkle with Crystal Clear glitter. Attach the floral frame around opening as shown using hot glue. Attach the teal ‘Friend’ word onto sentiment. Cut off sections of the remaining frame and attach onto the top left and bottom right corners as shown. Use the Dries Clear glue along with the Mustard glitter to add a touch of sparkle over the floral centers.
