Framed Floral Cottage

Instructions:

Cut white cardstock to 9 1/2 x 6 1/4", score and fold at 4 3/4" to create card base. Cut a 6 1/4 x 4 3/4" piece of teal patterned paper from sheet 6A in Floral Frames Paper collection. Cut a 6 x 4 1/2" piece of white cardstock. Next diecut the curvy floral frame die from center of cardbase, teal panel and white panel. Set aside the floral frames from cardbase and white panel. The frame openings should all align when layered on top of each other. Lightly sponge the edges, top left & bottom right of white panel with Magenta Hue and Rose Madder ink, then sponge with Dries Clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni’s Crystal Clear glitter. Layer the teal panel on card base, then the white panel on top as shown. Cut a 6 x 4 1/2" piece of clear cardstock and attach to the front inside of card. Cut the cottage image from sheet 6A to 6 3/16 x 4 11/16" size, and attach onto inside of card. Sponge the VersaColor White ink over the frame that surrounds cottage, sprinkle with Aged Ivory embossing powder and heat emboss. Use a sponge to apply Dries Clear glue over embossed area and sprinkle with Rajni’s Crystal Clear and tap off.

Stamp florals 6 times from HCPC-3976 Curvy Floral Frame Cling Stamp Set in VersaColor White Pigment ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping cardstock, sprinkle with Aged Ivory embossing powder and heat emboss. Stamp florals 3 times from HCPC-3974 Rectangular Floral Frame Cling Stamp Set in VersaColor White Pigment ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping cardstock, sprinkle with Aged Ivory embossing powder and heat emboss. Stamp curvy floral frame from HCPC-3976 Curvy Floral Frame Cling Stamp Set in Forget-Me-Not ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping cardstock. Stamp the ‘For my Friend' sentiment from HCPC-3975 Oval Floral Frame Cling Stamp Set in Forget-Me-Not ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping cardstock. Die cut all the images with coordinating dies.

Use the daubers along with inks to color the images. For the florals, use Magenta Hue and Rose Madder ink, shading darker from center of petals outward. Leave edges of petals white. For the leaves, use Vivid Chartreuse and Garden Patina ink. For the frame, use Vivid Chartreuse and Garden Patina on the border and leaves. Use Magenta Hue and Rose Madder ink on corner florals. Add a touch of Vivid Chartreuse over sentiment.

Use the shaping stylus from Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to shape florals and leaves. Thread yellow stamen through floral centers, layering them together with hot glue. Secure stamen on backsides of florals with hot glue, then cut off excess thread.

Layer the floral frame image onto the other 2 white floral frames for thickness. Inset the floral frame into the opening of card, attaching onto the clear cardstock with Dries Clear glue. Use hot glue to attach the florals and leaves onto card as shown. Use Dries Clear glue to attach sentiment. Use a sponge along with Dries Clear glue to apply Rajni’s Crystal Clear over card as desired.
