Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. Make the Oakberry Lane blossoms using the blueberry bushel ink to stamp onto the Bermuda bay card stock. Die cut and edge the petals with the blueberry bushel ink. Place face down into the shaping mold, spritz with water and place the top on the mold before running it though the die cutting machine to shape the flowers. Poke a small hole through the centre of the set of petals and thread the stamen through a small group of petals and then a group - glue in place using hot glue.
Stamp the Oakberry leaves onto the flower shaping paper using Shaded Spruce and colour using the lime burst ink. Die cut and colour the reverse with the same ink, then place in the mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine as with the flowers. Hot glue a set of leaves to the back of each flower. Snip away excess stem on the flowers.
Make approx. 6 flowering dogwood branches by stamping them in early espresso ink onto the flower shaping paper. Colour using the petal pink and mossy meadow ink and colour the branches in early espresso. Use the copic pen to tint the centre of each flower and die cut the branches. Shape using the flower shaping tools.
Die cut 4 of the box sides using cream card and glue the sides together leaving the last side open so that the box lies flat. Die cut your choice of paper for the box sides using the solid dies from the box set and adhere them to the box using dries clear glue. Die cut 4 of the floral silhouette squares and adhere these over the paper on each side. Glue the remainder of the box together. Cut another square of paper and adhere this to the bottom of the box.
Die cut your choice of tag from the paper collection, die cut a second tag using cream card and adhere these back to back to form a stronger tag and thread with metallic thread.
Arrange and secure into place the flowers, blossoms and tags around the top of the box using hot glue. Add a string of gems along the bottom of the box on all side using dries clear glue.
Stamp the kittens in gray granite ink and colour using copic pens. Die cut the kittens and shape them using the flower shaping tools - secure into position on the box using hot glue.
