To create Dahlia flower and buds, stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Pink Peony 5x large petals and 4x small petals. While the stamped image is whole, color the petals in Archival Buttercup to the centers using Stack and Store Daubers. Die-cut then edge the petals and color the back of the petals in Pink Peony. Add Carnation Red points to the center of the petals with the Stack and Store Dauber tips. Lay the petals in the mold and spritz lightly with water and run through the die-cutting machine.
To create the green petals stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Fern Green 2x large petals and 1 small petal. While the stamped image is whole, color the petals in Archival Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green using Stack and Store Daubers. Die-cut then edge the petals and color the back of the petals in Leaf Green. Lay the petals in the mold and spritz lightly with water and run through the die-cutting machine.
Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to curl the petals to form the buds keeping the stamped image on the outside. Thread the pollen stamens through a large bead (alternatively roll a small ball of sisal) and adhere to the center of the Dahlia and layer each petal with hot glue. Finish the large Dahlia with 2no. green petals, 3D lacquer and glitter.
The Dalia buds are 2 or 3 layers of small petals with 1no. green petal. The petals have been hot glued together and the centers are hollow. Paint on 3D lacquer and glitter.
To create the Dahlia and Leaves stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Fern Green for the leaves and stems and in Pink Peony for the Dahlia flower/buds. Color the Dahlia in Pink Peony. Color the leaves in Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green. Die-cut with the coordinating dies and shape the leaves using the mold. The Dahlias and Leaves have been painted with 3D lacquer and glittered. With scissors cut additional petals and adhere to create a decoupage effect. Add a line of dries clear behind each layer, this will help keep the layers to be raised.
Use a hot glue gun to adhere the Dahlia and leaves to the frame.
