Floral Hexagon Tower

Instructions: Click here to view more photos of this project. To create box first cut a hexagon base and 6 side panels from white cardstock using Gift box die. Glue all pieces and create a box. Cut 6 pieces of designer paper measuring 2” × 2” and glue them on box. Fold the upper panel outside and glue them as shown. Cut flap from designer paper and adhere them. Cut some Hearts from luxe gold cardstock and heart frames from white cardstock. Glue them on flaps as buttons.
For lid cut 1 hexagon base piece from white cardstock using die. Cut 6 pieces of side panels and trim them. Glue all pieces and create lid. Cut designer paper according to the size and mat on lid. Take a thin gold cardstock strip and glue in the middle of lid’s side panels. Again, fussy cut a small hexagon and create a small lid. Glue it on the main lid. Cut some Hearts from gold cardstock and glue them on lid as shown. Glue heart cut out on the small lid to create knob. Glue some flat back pearls on lid.
For flowers, stamp Wild rose flowers on deluxe flower shaping paper using vibrant fuchsia ink and Buttercup ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint flowers with rose madder and tea rose ink. Shape flowers using shaping mold. Further shape more with Groove tool. Stamp Posies leaves using olive green archival on deluxe flower shaping and cut with coordinating die. Paint leaves using sap green and olive green archival. Glue flowers and leaves using hot melted glue. Also glue a miniature bird. Tie a bow using satin cord and glue it. For finished look, apply glitter using clear adhesive.
