Instructions: Card size is 3 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Cut white cardstock to 7” x 8 1/2”, score at 3 1/2”. Place Palace Gateway HCD2-7349, outline die on card front. Place cutting plate only along the top edge of the gate die and diecut. Use paper trimmer to trim along the left and right side of the card, creating a partially shaped card front. Cut teal paper (sheet 10-B) to 1 7/8 x 8 1/4” and adhere onto top of card front. Cut a second piece of paper (sheet 1B) to 3 5/16 x 8 1/4”. Diecut the edge using outline of Palace Gateway outline die, again placing the cutting plate only on the top edge of the gate die to match the card base. Use a Stack and Store dauber to ink the edges with Magenta Hue ink. Stamp sentiment from HCPC-3845 Just for You sentiment stamp set by inking the last word with Paradise Teal ink, followed by Magenta Hue ink over entire stamp. This creates a beautiful shade of pink and purple for a two-toned stamp. Adhere this panel on card front.

Cut teal paper from Floral Butterfly paper collection (sheet 10-B) to 3 5/16 x 8 1/4” and adhere onto inside of card base. Create a vellum overlay to layer on top of inside teal paper, just slightly smaller, to give it a frosty appearance, and adhere.

Diecut Palace Gateway onto white cardstock, then use a small scissors to trim and remove only the top part of the gate to act as a border. Color lightly with a Stack and Store dauber and Magenta Hue ink. Apply Dries Clear glue onto hydra sponge and dab randomly on diecut, then sprinkle with Frosting Powder. After tapping off, heat set with embossing tool. Adhere onto card base using Dries Clear glue.

Stamp the butterflies on vellum using a white pigment ink and emboss using Bridal embossing tinsel. From HCPC-3953 Small Floral Butterfly Stamp set, stamp the largest butterfly x2 and a medium butterfly. Heat set with embossing tool. Stamp fern leaf and floral spray from HCPC-3952 Floral Butterfly Accents die on white cardstock using Leaf Green ink on the foliage and Vibrant Fuchsia on the florals. Diecut with coordinating dies. From the HCD2-7349 Ironworks Sentiments die, diecut thank you sentiment and it’s coordinating outline on white cardstock.

Use Stack and Store daubers with the following inks to color the images. Use Majestic Violet, Vibrant Fuchsia and Bright Tangelo on the largest butterflies and Vivid Chartreuse and Manganese on the medium butterfly. Apply this on the back side of the vellum. Color the foliage with Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green, and using a light hand use Bright Tangelo on the flowers. Use Majestic Violet to shade the thank you sentiment.

Shape the vellum butterflies lightly by using the stylus handle to lightly wrap around the wings giving it a soft shape. Take one of the large butterflies and trim the outer edge off with a scissors, then adhere on second butterfly using hot glue. Separate flowers using scissors then adhere on card front as shown. Die cut two banners using paper from the paper collection using two smallest arrows from HCD1-7204 Arrows and Banners die. Color edges with Manganese Blue and Magenta Hue ink, shape lightly with stylus handle and adhere using foam adhesive and dries clear glue. Trim off any access and discard.

On inside of card, adhere fern leaf on vellum card base, then layer sentiment and outline and adhere onto inside of card base.
