Festive Season's Greetings
Instructions:
Cut a 6.75” square piece of kraft card and a 6.5” paper from the collection. Rag the edges of both and adhere the paper to the kraft card. Die cut the sweetheart border using kraft card and adhere to the paper, approximately I” from the bottom. Wrap a thick piece of crochet lace around the base and secure with red tape. Wrap twine around the ribbon and tie in a bow to the right side of the card. Add this to the white 7” card base using foam pads.
Stamp the largest and the 2 medium poinsettias using morocco ink onto flower shaping paper. Colour using peanut brittle ink and die cut. Place face down in to the mold, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine to shape. Add a little extra shape to the tips of the petals using the ball tools. Make a large hole in the centre of each set of petals and thread 10 doubled stamens through the centre of each, securing with hot glue.
Stamp the large holly berry spray and 1 of the smaller sprays using versamark. Cover with gold embossing powder, remove excess and heat to set. Die cut and colour the leaves using northern pine ink. Lightly shape using the flower shaping tools.
Stamp 3 of the large holly leaves in versamark and gold heat emboss as with the holly berry sprays. Die cut and colour using northern pine ink. Place into the mold, face down, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine to shape.
Arrange the sprays, leaves and flower onto the right side of the card and secure into position using hot glue.
Lightly sponge the flower with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with crystal art glitter and remove excess.
Stamp the sentiment using rich cocoa ink onto the same colour paper as the base card. Die cut using the banner and snip off at an angle. Ink lightly around the edge with northern pine ink and adhere to the left side of the card base.
