Fancy Classic Butterflies

Instructions:

Fold a 12” x 5.5” piece of card at 6” to create a tent fold card. Place the largest rectangle frame die over the fold and die cut to create a shaped card base. Die cut the largest rectangle frame using white card and paper from the collection, layer and adhere to the card base. Die cut the largest decorative frame die using white card and adhere to the card base.

Stamp the grateful floral sentiment using melon mambo ink onto stamping card, cover with clear embossing powder, remove excess and heat to set. Colour using melon mambo, new sprout ink and yellow zig pen and die cut using the outer and inner die. Stamp the sentiment onto white card using rich coca ink and trim the rectangle to the edge of the sentiment frame, adhere the coloured die cut frame over the stamped image. Cut a rectangle from the clear cardstock, slightly smaller than the white rectangle card and adhere to the back of the white card.

Cut a rectangle of patterned paper, slightly larger than the sentiment frame and adhere to a slightly larger white rectangle of card, adhere together and adhere to the centre of the card base.

Stamp the sentiment onto paper from the collection using black ink. Cut to 3.5” x 4.5”, adhere to the centre of the card panel and place hot mama and go man go prills on the card in the centre. Add shaker foam tape around the die cut frame and adhere on top of the stamped sentiment to create a shaker.

Stamp the butterfly onto vellum using rich coca, die cut and add melon mambo to the edges of the vellum butterfly, add yellow zig to the area near the body to shade. Die cut the filigree wings, sponge over with dries clear adhesive and cover with baby's breath glitter. Shape the the vellum and glittered wings, adhere together at the top of the card using dries clear adhesive.
