FALL-ing Leaves

Instructions:

The finished layout measure 12 x 12 inches. Take a light green paper sheet 2B from the Seasonal Wreath Paper Collection and start by applying a clear gesso on your sheet to protect it because you want to create a watercolor effect in your background that requires a lot of water.  With a brush apply different colors of green and yellow ink and add water to dilute the whole. (I used distress oxide bundle sage, mowed lawn, pine needles, mustard seed and shabby shutters). Dry between each color.  Then make droplets of each ink color by shaking a brush gorged with ink over the sheet.  Also make droplets with Irressistible texture spay white. Your background is ready.

Glue you picture at the right bottom corner. Die cut a frame in white cardstock from the Ornate oval die and cut the center with the Eyelet oval basic large and glue ot on your picture with 3D foam.

Make 3 Rustic Sunflower Flowers of different sizes. Stamp with Bright Tangelo ink onto Deluxe flower shaping paper, color the center with the sunflower ink and shade the edge with the buttercup. You can also color the back of the flowers.  Diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Glue 2 layers together. In the center of the flowers put hot glue. Add Prills on the top of the glue and let it dry. Cover the flower with 3D  crystal lacquer and let it dry. Put cheesecloth next to your picture and glue your 3 flowers on it.

Stamp leaves from the Autumn wreath accents with differents ink colors: Archival buttercup, carnation red, seaferer, library green, bright tangelo. Color with the same color and cut with the coordinating dies. Put 3D crystal lacquer them and let dry. Also make 2 flowers with sepia and buttercup ink. Use Gilt trip prills for the center.

Cut long sewing thread (white, yellow and blue) randomly on your layout. Glue your leaves and 2 flowers on it, just to give the impression that the leaves are falling. Also glue leaves all around your pictures.

Die cut the word “FALL” with the alphabet die, 3 times in the white cardstock and glue them on each other to make like chipboard letters. Glue this title through your falling leaves. Add 3D crystal clear on the leters and let dry.

For the final touch, simply add sequins and orange juice prills randomly on your layout.
