Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. You will be making two boxes to create this easel card. Cut 4 pieces of Light Green Cardstock for the Box sleeves at 4 x 8 1/4" score them at 2 3/4", 3 7/8", 6 5/8" and 7 3/4" you have left 1/2 inch, put glue or tape on this and close the sleeves. Cut 4 pieces of Light Green Cardstock for the boxes at 4 3/4 x 6 1/8" score them 1 inch on every side then cut in to 2 sides till the score line and fold them into a box. Take your circle punch and punch a half circle on 1 side on the top of the box, make a hole under it. Take a flower stamen and put it into a spacer and put the whole thing in the hole of the box like a knob, cut off the wire and roll it up on the inside. Now put all the boxes in the sleeves and put them on a piece of the 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 Cardboard and glue or tape them down. On top of that you glue the other piece of cardboard. Cut a piece of design paper 6 1/2 x 6 1/2", ink the edges with the Vintage photo and glue this on top. Cut a piece of the light green cardstock at 6 x 12 inches and score it on 3 and 6 inches. On the side of the 6 inch piece you can make a nice edge with the Regal Borders and pockets Die, glue this on top of the design paper. Now cut a piece of the same Green cardstock at 6 x 6 inches and make a nice edge with the same edge die on 1 side, glue this piece on the 3 inch piece of cardstock so that it stands up, with the nice edge on top (easel card). Take 2 straws and cut them in different lengths and glue them in front of the standup flap so that it can't slide flat, Ink the straws with some Vintage photo.
Now for the box cut a piece of the Light green of 6 x 6 inch and score all the way 3/4 round then cut in 2 sides and fold and glue the box together, then for the lid do the same as the box but first glue a piece of design paper on top then make a hole in the center with the large circle die, then glue a piece of acetate behind it.
For the inside of the box you can use the circle and glue it down in the center make a few flowers and use 1 in the box, glue it down with foam dots then it is a little bit 3D put a Rhinestone butterfly in it, now you can close the box by gluing the lid on it. Take some silver tape and glue this around the box, now glue the whole box on top of the card.
I found the fairy on Internet here and I traced it in my silhouette machine and cut it out of black cardstock and glued it on the right upper corner, put some stickles on her wings and give her a flat back pearl in her hands.
Now make all the flowers see further down in the instructions how to, then make a nice arrangement on the front, the rabbit is standing against a piece of acetate, I ordered the Rabbit on line here, I cut his arm loose and put some flowers in it.
Stamp the Big peony flowers with the Peanut Brittle on White cardstock and cut them out with the coordinating die, make a hole in the center, color them with tangelo and fossilized amber. Take a big bead and pull a wire through it cover the whole bead in glue and dip it in the (train) sand, then put it in the hole of the flower and glue it down! Pull the leaves a little bit to the back, then your 3D coneflower is done.
Stamp the coneflowers with Rich Cocoa on White cardstock and color them with the Vibrant Fuchsia, and the yellow ones with Fossilized Amber and in the center tangelo, for the leaves I used a mix of the bamboo leaves and leaf Green. Put some glue on all of the coneflowers tops take some of the (train) sand and dip the tops in that, now you have nice pollens on top of your flower! And on top of the flower petals you can put a white line with the white marker.
