Fabulous Foam Floral

Other Products: Hot glue, stamping blocks, diecutting machine

Instructions: Score and fold a 7.25” x 10” card at 5”. Place the largest Teardrop lattice die over the fold and diecut to create a shaped card. Die cut a second complete shape using white card and adhere to the card base.

Die cut the largest eyelet gateway using paper from the Calla Lily Collection and a decorative bird cage using coordinating paper and layer on to the card base, placing the tip of the cage at the top of the arch.

Die cut 3 daydreams bridge die using the silver luxe card, snip the stars from the centre and snip into the remainder to create a backdrop for the flowers.

Stamp 3 of the leaves onto flower shaping paper using bamboo leaves ink, colour using pistachio and diecut. Edge the leaves with bamboo leaves ink and shape with the flower shaping tools.

Create the flowers: Stamp onto art foam paper using the Teal blue stazon ink. Lightly colour using the same ink and die cut. Heat the foam until it begins to curl and twist the petals together whilst they are still warm. Open up and allow to cool. Repeat this process with 3 sets of the same size petals. Twist some stamen together and poke through the centre of the flower petals, securing with adhesive or hot glue. Snip the excess wires away. Dot or dab dries clear adhesive onto the petals and sprinkle with glitter.

Arrange the silver diecuts, flowers, leaves and white stamens on the card base and secure with dries clear and hot glue.

Stamp the sentiment onto white paper using the teal blue ink. Die cut using the banner die. Curl to add dimension and use dries clear adhesive to secure onto the card base at the top.
