Elegantly Framed Mother's Day Asters
Instructions:
Ready side fold card measures 5"×7". Take a piece of designer paper measuring 4 3/4"× 6 3/4", distress edges with matching ink and adhere it on ready card base. Cut a decorative frame from white cardstock and Luxe Gold cardstock using die from the set. Glue both together and adhere it on card in tilted manner. Cut another mat from designer paper measures 4"×6", distress edges with matching ink and adhere on card in an angle using dimensional tape.
Cut another designer paper using die from the set and stamp sentiment on it. Adhere it on card using dimensional tape. Cut 2 decorative frame from white cardstock and Luxe Gold cardstock and glue both together. Glue it on card as pictured.
Stamp aster flower on deluxe flower shaping paper using aquamarine ink and cut with coordinating die. Paint flowers using same ink and shape using groove golf tool. Layer flowers and add prills to the center using hot glue. Stamp leaves from Summer Wreath Accents and Autumn Wreath Accents Stamp using olive green ink and cut with coordinating dies. Paint leaves using bundled sage distress and olive archival ink. Slightly shape leaves using ball tool. Apply clear dry adhesive and add glitter on flowers and leaves.
Arrange flowers and leaves on card in desired manner and glue them using hot melted glue. For the finished look, tie satin cords on the card.
