Elegant Starry Greeting

Instructions:

Score and fold an 8.5” x 7.25" piece of white card in half to create a top fold card base and die cut using the fancy classic oval die, overlaping the die along the folded side.Cut a white card and paper diecut of the largest size oval, layer together and adhere to the card base. Die cut the large thin outer die using white card. Sponge dries clear adhesive around the edges of the card, add the thin frame and sprinkle with transparent glitter. Die cut a silver luxe decorative frame and adhere this to the card base.

Stamp 3 of the pine needles from the winter wreath accents using northern pine ink, die cut and shape using the shaping tools. Stamp a set of the holly leaves using olive grove ink and colour using the same ink, die cut and shape using the shaping tools.

Stamp the star x2 onto dark purple card using VersaMark, cover with white embossing powder, remove excess and heat to set. Die cut using the outer die on the first star and both dies on the second. Layer the 2 stars on the left side of the card using dries clear adhesive.

Stamp the sentiment on to pale paper from the collection using elderberry ink, and clear heat emboss. Die cut and adhere to a white die cut from the same die. Adhere this to the background shape cut from white card and paper from the collection. Colour the leaves using a deep green zig marker. Add this “sentiment topper” to the card base using double dots.

Tuck the pine needles and star off cuts around the right of the sentiment, and adhere the holly to the left.

Make a flower: stamp the smallest set of 3 Wild Rose petals onto the art foam paper using elderberry ink, colour using sweet plum ink and die cut. Heat the 2 smallest petals using an iron or heat gun to shape and pull through the centre 6 double stamens to create the flower. Adhere to the card base as shown using hot glue and add transparent glitter to the petals.
