Delicate Daisy Birthday

Cut a piece of white card stock to 11 x 7 1/2” and score in half at 5 1/2” to form a 5 1/2 x 7 1/2” card base. Cut a piece from sheet 4A from the HCDP1-2144 Elegant Rose Frames Paper Collection measuring 5 1/2 x 7 1/2” and ink the edges using HCDA1-449 Stack and Store Daubers with Majestic Violet ink. Glue this to the card base. Now from Luxe Silver Card Stock cut a piece measuring 5 1/4 x 7 1/4” and cut another piece from sheet 4B measuring 5 1/8 x 7 1/8” and adhere these two layers to the card front. Next use the HCD3-7434 Delicate Daisy Corner Border Dies to cut both corners from white card stock. Then cut from Luxe Silver Card Stock but only use the outline die from the corner dies to create the silver background layer. Glue these together and attach to the card base as shown. From sheet 1A use the coordinating HCD1-7155 Circle Basic Large Die to cut out the circle portion from the 6” panel in the bottom right hand corner of the page. Now using the HCD1-7154 Eyelet Basic Circle Small Die, cut the scallop circle from Luxe Silver Card Stock to mat behind the circle just cut. Attach to the card front with 3D foam pads.

Using the HCPC-3887 Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set, stamp out the smaller flower 4x and the larger stamp 5x in Cactus Flower ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Lightly color with Cactus Flower and Majestic Violet inks. Die cut with the coordinating dies and shape from the back using Grooved Golf Tools. Layer up 2-3 flowers and adhere using hot glue and then add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter to the petals using a hydra sponge and Dries Clear Adhesive. Finish the flowers by adding Go Man Go Prills to the centers of each flower. Now stamp out 2-3 Leaves from the HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set in Leaf Green ink onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Lightly color with Leaf Green ink and die cut and shape with the coordinating dies and mold. Lastly, stamp out the spray from the HCPC-3888 Wild Aster Spray Cling Stamp set with Versa Color Pigment ink onto vellum. Heat emboss then die cut using the coordinating die.

Now before arranging the flowers stamp and die cut out the sentiment from the HCPC-31004 Elegant Rose Sentiments Cling Stamp Set using two tones of ink. Fussy cut out the flowers so that just the sentiment remains. Die cut two more times from white card stock and layer up behind the sentiment for support and dimension. Adhere to the circle on the card front then begin arranging the flowers. Arrange the foliage and sprays first so that they frame the left hand side of the card nicely. Then finish by adding the flowers so that they balance the card out nicely. Lastly add accent pearls to the design for even more interest. Chose a piece of the Elegant Rose Paper Collection to place on the inside of the card for a beautiful coordinating finished look.
