Instructions: Use a tent fold 6 x 6” card base. Use the Courtyard Elegance Die 1: 6.0” x 6.0” to cut the Dazzling Dahlia Paper Pad designer paper, edge with Archival Bright Tangelo and adhere to the front of the card blank. Choose another designer paper from Dazzling Dahlia and cut with Courtyard Elegance Die 2: 5.75” x 5.75” and Courtyard Elegance Die: 5.5” x 5.5” and adhere to the front of the card base. Inside the card, cut a designer paper with Courtyard Elegance Die 2: 5.75” x 5.75”, edge with Bright Tangelo and adhere. Die-cut Courtyard Elegance Die: 4.0” x 4.0” and Courtyard Elegance Die: 3.75” x 3.75” and adhere. Die-cut Courtyard Elegance Die: 2.0” x 2.0” in white cardstock and stamp out ‘Lets Celebrate You’ from Just For You in Archival Bright Tangelo, edge in the same color and adhere to the inside of the card using 3D dots.
To create Dahlia flower and buds, stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Pink Peony 6x large petals and 8x small petals. While the stamped image is whole, color the petals in Archival Buttercup using Stack and Store Daubers. Die-cut then edge the petals and color the back of the petals in Bright Tangelo. Lay the petals in the mold and spritz lightly with water and run through the die-cutting machine.
To create the green petals, stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Fern Green 2x large petals and 3x small petals. While the stamped image is whole color the petals in Archival Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green using Stack and Store Daubers. Die-cut then edge the petals and color the back of the petals in Leaf Green. Lay the petals in the mold and spritz lightly with water and run through the die-cutting machine.
Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to curl the petals to form the buds keeping the stamped image on the outside. Thread the Rosehip stamen through a large bead and adhere to the center of the Dahlia and layer each petal with hot glue. Finish the large Dahlia with 2no. green petals, 3D lacquer and glitter.
The Dalia buds are 2 or 3 layers of small petals with 1 green petal. The petals have been hot glued together and the centers are hollow. Paint on 3D lacquer and glitter.
To create the Dahlia and Leaves stamp onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Fern Green for the leaves and stems and in Pink Peony for the Dahlia flower/buds. Color the Dahlia in Pink Peony and edge with Bright Tangelo. Color the leaves in Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green. Die-cut with the coordinating dies and shape the leaves using the mold. The Dahlias and Leaves have been painted with 3D lacquer and glittered.
Separate the sisal to make it fluffy, this will help lift individual elements as you build the bouquet. Tuck voile and leaves in as you build and adhere with hot glue (or 3D gel). Add self-adhesive pearls to the visible dot areas on the Courtyard Elegance die-cut.
