Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. Measure your mini canvas. Mine happened to be just a little over 6 inches. Cut a piece of cream cardstock that is about 4 inches by that just over 6 inches measurement. Using a Delicate Border die I cut the top and bottom of that piece of cream cardstock. Adhere this piece to the burlap canvas using a strong adhesive. Add button accents and the Thickers letter stickers for your sentiment.
Stamp and die cut 2 sets of the Large Sweet Peony images onto cream cardstock using dark brown ink (Early Espresso). Stamp and die cut 3 sets of the Small Sweet Peony images onto cream cardstock using dark brown ink. Add color to the images using ink and daubers. I used the ColorBox ink Gingersnap adding more color to the tips of the petals and working in lighter as I went. Flip the flowers over and mist them using the Heidi Swapp Shimmer Mister (Tea). Let dry.
Shape the flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Assemble the flowers with lots of layers. For the large flowers I used 1 of every size flower. Add ivory pearl stamen to the larger flowers and the decorative gem over top.
Create loops of natural burlap string and adhere them to the canvas. Add the large Sweet Peonies on top of those string loops. Add the smaller Sweet Peony.
