Instructions: Separate the 5 x 7” Gateway Fold Card to create 4pages. Each page will be adhered to the spine of the book; cut white cardstock 2 3/4 x 4 3/4” and place portrait onto the scoreboard, score at every 1/4”. Burnish all the score lines and glue 1st and 2nd 1/4” sections together to create an upstand. The 3rd 1/4” remains flat and repeat the process until you have 4 upstands (a photo will be posted on my blog). Strengthen the spine by adding designer paper/cardstock to the flat of the spine.

Stamp in versafine onyx onto white cardstock Countryside Cottage, Cottage Summer ‘Scapes’, Cottage Tree ‘Scapes’, Countryside Autumn ‘Scapes’, Countryside Winter ‘Scapes’ and color with Zig Clean Color Markers and die-cut with coordinating dies.

Stamp Christmas Poinsettia & Holly in Forget Me Not and Leaf Green onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, use the daubers to color Vivid Chartreuse and French Ultramarine and edge in Fern Green. Place the flower and leaves into the mold and spritz with water prior to running through the die-cutting machine. Use Deluxe Flower Shaping Tools to cup the centers and add Ribbit prills to the center with dries clear. Add 3D Lacquer to the holly leaves and allow to dry. Add Dries White and glitter.

Spring (front): Adhere strip of ribbon (end to be hidden behind gateway die-cut). From Countryside Cottage Paper Collection, mat and layer the outline and scalloped die-cut from Scalloped Flourish Gateway die set. Adhere the tree/shrubs/chimney climbers/birds with dries clear and other die-cuts on dots. The windows and roof have been covered in 3D lacquer.

Summer: from Countryside Cottage Paper Collection, mat and layer the outline and swirl from Elegant Swirl Gateway Die. Add die-cuts and 3D lacquer the center of the flowers.

Autumn/Fall: from Countryside Cottage Paper Collection, mat and layer the outline and swirl from Elegant Swirl Gateway Die. Add die-cuts and 3D lacquer the center of the flowers and leaves.

Winter: from Countryside Cottage Paper Collection, mat and layer the outline and scalloped die-cut from Scalloped Flourish Gateway die set. Cut each mat in blue and decorative panel in white cardstock for top and bottom using Ornate Flourish Gateway Die. Adhere to the page tucking some die-cuts behind the gateway panels. Use a black gel pen to highlight the bows on the presents and snowman/bird’s eyes.

Back of the book/pages: (Note: do this step after the pages have been adhered to the spine). The back of each page has a cottage image from Countryside Cottage Paper Collection die-cut with the outline die from Scalloped Flourish Gateway Die. Adhere strip of ribbon (end to be hidden behind gateway die-cut). Stamp Ornate Just for You in Magenta Hue and around the outside in Red Geranium, die-cut with coordinating die and adhere to the mat with dots. Adhere Poinsettia and Holly.

Adhere each page to the front of each upstand, the spine showing at the rear of each page will be covered by the gateway die-cut.

To create the dome effect spine cut white cardstock 2 x 4 3/4” and score portrait 1/4” from each end. Burnish the score lines and manipulate the cardstock to create a curve. Tip: roll a long cylindrical object on a spongy surface over the cardstock (I use a piece of dowel). Adhere the 1/4” tabs to the flat of the spine.

Die-cut tags from Countryside Cottage Paper Collection and thread through the domed spine finishing with bows.
