Instructions: Click here to view more photos of this project. This card when finished measures 6” x 6”. Taking the ready-made swing card base, cut the last square away and save it for another card. For the circle front, ink the edges of both sides of the card circle with a light coating of the Damson Wine ink with the aid of the foam inking tool or a dauber.
Find the purple colored paper with roses on it used for this card in the paper collection. Cut the paper in four so you have x 2 papers for the card inside and the inside back and x 2 papers for the circle front. The paper with the small roses around the edge as a border is used for the back of the card. Adhere in place. The paper with the roses down the side is used for the card square base, this is stamped with the gold embossing powder using the ‘Eagles wings’ sentiment stamp. Adhere in place.
Use the remaining 2 papers and die cut the lace circles using the Round Window frames. Cut x 2 the outer lace die circles and x 1 the inner lace circle from these papers. Cut from the Luxe gold card stock x 2 inner lace circles and x 1 middle lace circle. Cut from the white card stock x 2 middle lace circles. Use the Damson Wine ink to ink the edges of all the paper die cut lace circles. Cut the collection paper inner circle in half, this will be adhered to the back of the gold inner lace circle off center so it shows on both sides of the gold edge.
Taking one of the inked white cardstock circles and adhere this to the back of the card. For the back of the circle card front, adhere one of the dark paper collection circles to the circle then the inked white cardstock middle lace circle then the gold small lace circle. This is all adhered with double sided tape or clear drying glue For the card front adhere the outer lace circle from the collection paper with clear drying glue or double-sided tape. The next two layers are adhered with the 3D foam dots. First the middle gold lace circle then the smaller gold lace circle with the cut collection paper lace circles on each side.
Taking the sentiments used, stamp these onto the white cardstock using the gold embossing powder. Die cut these into a circle using the basic circle dies hat fit the stamp. Ink the sentiments with the Damson Wine ink. Adhere the card front sentiment with the 3D dots and the second sentiment with double sided tape or clear drying glue. Make the leaves and the roses. You will need x 5 leaf vines and x 3 larger roses, x 5 medium sized roses and x 5 smaller sized roses. Use the 3D shaping mold and the balling tools to bring shape to the roses and leaves. Trim the leaves, as you need to make a boarder bed for the roses to sit on for the card front. For the inside of the card use a small leaf cluster from the off cuts from the leaf vines for the roses. Adhere the roses in place as shown.
Using the gold card stock make the hinges used for the card. Place these at the card front fold to strengthen the fold. Do this also for the inside.
Taking the Nature stamp, stamp and die cut the eagle x 2. Color these images with the Zig marker pens; Light Grey and a yellow then apply the Crystal Lacquer to them. When dry apply a little diamond stickles to the wing tips. Adhere in place.
To finish the card, apply diamond stickles to the GOD in the sentiment on the card front, to the Eagles wings words on the stamped gold embossing sentiment to the card base. Last, to all the rose petal edges.
