Clematis Rustic Wreath

Other Products: Hot glue, small basket weave ring. Hessian & lace strip, thick blue baker’s twine

Instructions: Stamp the clematis onto flower shaping paper using the danube blue ink, colour using sweet plum and die cut. Edge the petals with summer sky ink. Place face down into the shaping mold, spritz with water, and run through the die cutting machine to shape. Make a hole in the centre of the flower and thread through 4 double stamens for the large flower, 3 double stamens for the medium flower and the small stamens for the smallest flower – secure these with hot glue and snip the stamen thread from the base of the flower.

Stamp the leaves using northern pine ink, colour using bamboo leaves, die cut. Add northern pine ink to shade the leaves, place face down into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine to shape.

Wrap the hessian and lace strip around the top of the basket wreath and secure with blue baker’s twine, creating a loop with the baker’s twine to hang the wreath. Tie a multi loop bow and secure into place at the top using hot glue and allow the ends to hang in the centre of the wreath. Tie a smaller baker’s twine bow and secure at the bottom of the wreath using hot glue.

Position and hot glue into place the leaves and flowers. Sponge a little dries clear adhesive onto the flowers and leaves, lightly sprinkle with glitter and remove excess.
