Stamp the following images onto Deluxe Flower Shaping paper and diecut with coordinating dies. Stamp the birdhouse from Clematis Birdhouse & Trellis stamp set in Leaf Green Ink. Stamp the birdies from the same set in Forget-Me-Not ink. Stamp the clematis from Clematis Cling Stamp Set in Cactus Flower ink. You’ll need 1 of the large clematis flower, 2 medium, and 2 small. Stamp the clematis leaves from the same set in Leaf Green ink. You’ll need 5 leaves. Diecut with coordinating dies. Stamp the sentiment in Leaf Green ink and cut apart with paper trimmer. Lightly sponge the sentiment words with Cactus Flower ink.
Use the Stack and Store Dauber along with inks to color the images. Use the Sunflower, Leaf Green, Sepia, Pink Peony and Forget-Me-Not for the birdhouse. Use the Sunflower and Forget-Me-Not for the birdies. Use Sunflower and Leaf Green on the leaves. Color the backsides of leaves too. For the clematis petals, start with a base color of Pink Peony. Then use a light touch of Forget-Me-Not in the centers of each petal. Finally use the Cactus Flower, shading in the center. Color the backsides of petals too. Use the yellow sponge to brush a light touch of Crystal Lacquer over the birdhouse, birdies, flowers and leaves.
Use the 3D Clematis Shaping Mold to shape the clematis and leaves. Use the stylus from Deluxe Flower shaping kit to shape the birdhouse, birdies and finishing touches to the flowers and leaves. Fringe cut small pieces of light green cardstock, roll up to be used as stamen centers. Pierce a hole through the center of each flower, thread stamens through and attach with hot glue. Use the paper piercer to curl the stamen for a realistic look. Take 7 of the wired stamen from Pastel Bead Stamens-Medium, and trim off the stamen with a wire cutter. Color the stamen wires using Leaf Green ink and Dauber.
Before placing the images onto the card base, first create a pop of background color for the birdhouse scene. You can lay the birdhouse down as a guide where to place coloring. Start with the Pink Peony ink, then add a touch of Forget-Me-Not, and then Cactus Flower for a beautiful backdrop of color. Dab some glue onto yellow sponge and apply over the colored background, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear. Now, attach the birdhouse using glue and double dots. Attach the little birdies. Attach ends of stamen wires through trellis openings and onto the inside of card using hot glue. Trim wires to desired length and attach clematis. Leave 3 of the wires curled to create the look of climbing clematis vines. Trim leaves in half, using only the pointy ends. Attach next to clematis as shown. Attach the sentiment. Cut a piece of green background paper from the Climbing Clematis paper collection to fit the inside of card. Sponge the paper with Vivid Chartreuse ink and attach.
